LOGIN(Mia's POV)
I narrowed my eyes at the three of them as they watched me approach. Their eyes followed my movements as I walked toward the dining table. Silence cut through the air as I sat next to Liam. He was the youngest of the triplets, and he hummed, watching me like a hawk. Feeling uncomfortable because Liam smelled like coffee, I rose from the chair and went to sit far away from them. Their eyes continued to look at me, but I did not comment or ask them anything. As the sound of the kitchen door unlocking echoed, my mother walked out and smiled at them. "I will serve the dinner now. Actually, my maid isn't around because I sent her to welcome her daughter's baby. I will be back," Mom said with an apologetic tone, as she came out of the kitchen to see if we were getting along. "It's okay, Chairwoman. Let's have dinner. As my dad will be here soon, or we can wait for him," Luis said, the second triplet, chiming in with his deep voice that made my thighs clench, and my mother smiled. "Alright." Unlike Leon's voice, Luis's voice was sharp, deeper, and magnetic, which made me uncomfortable as his face showed no smile at all. His eyes were calculated and sinister. "Let me get the dinner ready. You all can chat with Mia to enlighten her more about our pack. I will be back," Mom said, her tone mild as her lips curled into a smile. Her eyes peered at me and signaled me to get along. Just as she swiftly strode to the kitchen door and left me with the three boys. "Mia, what a beautiful name for a beautiful bunny," Liam spoke first, his voice filled with teasing as he looked at me. "I know you three are bullies, but my mother will never marry your father. So, you better get that into your damn skulls," I replied coldly, my voice harsh, but I didn't care. I had thought about it, but I could not live with them. "Hmm," Leon rose to his feet and came to my chair to meet me. I tensed in my seat as he leaned next to my neck, his cool breath brushing the crook of my neck. "How about?" Leon began, whispering into my right ear, and I shivered. "How about I tell you that 'we' want to marry you instead of your mother?" "What?" I jumped away from the chair as if my whole body was on fire, my cheeks burning hot as I glared at Leon. He was the oldest of the triplets. He must be joking, right? I looked into his face and shifted away from the dining table as I glanced at the other two boys. Their faces were neutral, their eyes calm, so I couldn't tell if they were annoyed or thinking the same as Leon. "Stay away from me, you ásshole!" I yelled at Leon, glaring at him, as I couldn't believe he was proposing to marry me. These three men had many young women in the academy ready to serve them, but not me. I wanted to create an advocate for women to learn to stand up for their rights. They could not be subjected to slavery and worshipping men for their dícks. Leon smiled and went back to his seat. "I am just kidding, haha," he laughed handsomely, surrendering his hands in the air. But my brows furrowed at him. My heart was beating erratically, and I warned him with a stern voice, "Do not come close to me again!" Luis and Liam were quiet as they watched me, but I felt their eyes digging into me. I felt my legs quiver, and my entire body was still hot due to Leon's closeness to me before. As I wanted to disappear from the dining room, my mother stepped out of the kitchen, carrying a tray of dinner in her arms. She looked at us in surprise, seeing me standing, and she asked, "Mia, is anything wrong?" Leon had already sat back, and before I could say a word, the doorbell rang. My mother rushed ahead to the dining table, dropping the big white tray of food in her arms on the dining table. "Mia, hurry up. Check who is at the door. I am sure Alpha David Oscar has arrived," Mom said, her face excited. Seeing my mother's happy face, I frowned and glared at the three boys who were looking at me. I forced my feet to move and went to pull the living room door open. To my shock, an older version of Liam, Luis, and Leon stood at the door and smiled at me. "Hi. You must be Mia, right?" he asked, seeing my shocked face. He smiled as I made way for him to enter the living room. He wore a black suit and looked breathtakingly handsome. "Good evening, sir. I am," I smiled at him, accepting his handshake as he walked in. He was a middle-aged man, but he seemed more polite and humble than his three sons. "It's nice to meet you, Mia. You look so beautiful like your mother," he praised me, shaking my right hand, and I blushed. "Thank you, sir," I replied, and my mother walked up to the living room to welcome him. "Welcome, babe," Mom said as she hugged Alpha David Oscar. I stole a quick glance at the Triple L faces to see their reaction upon seeing their father hugging my mother and kissing her lightly on her forehead. Except for Leon, Luis and Liam frowned to show they didn't approve of my mother as their stepmother. But seeing me smirking at them, they smiled at me for the first time, and my heart exploded, throbbing faster. I quickly glanced away. "Come on, Mia. Let's have our seats while I set up the meals," Mom said, her voice soft as she gestured for us to have our seats at the dining chairs while she served the table. Leon sat across from me, while his father and my mother sat next to each other. However, Luis and Liam sat to my right as the dining table had six chairs. This was the first time that the dining room was full. Before, it was just me and my mother. Mom served the delicious meals of fried rice and chicken before she went to serve us drinks and sat back next to Alpha David. "How do you like the meals, Triple L?" Mom asked them when Leon took the first bite, holding his spoon. Luis and Liam were quiet and holding their spoons too. Luis was in the middle of me and Liam as he sat across from his father, while my mother sat across from Liam. But Leon caressed my legs under the table, and I glared at him, shifting my leg back under my chair. Leon smiled and said, "It's delicious, Ma." "How about you both? You haven't tasted the meal?" Mom asked, her voice full of concern as her eyes darted to look at Luis and Liam, who sat next to me. "You seem to care more about the boys than me, babe," Alpha David complained with a sweet voice as he looked at my mother lovingly. Mom blushed and said, "I know you will not tell me the truth about my food. You will always speak good of me. I personally prepared this fried rice and chicken, and I wanted to see how your sons like it." Mom shifted her gaze to us and peered at Luis, who sat next to me. Luis had the same coffee smell as Leon. He dipped his spoon into the fried rice on his plate and took a bite, the same as Liam, as I watched their faces. "It's nice, Chairwoman," Luis said, and their father scowled. "Luis, haven't I warned you three to learn to call Lucy, Mom? She will be your new stepmother, and it's only respectful to call her Mom," Alpha David snapped, his voice thunderous, and I peered at him in shock. Mom quickly placed her right hand on Alpha David's left hand to calm him down as she said, "It's okay, babe. I am not upset that they call me Chairwoman. That's what I am in the Academy." Alpha David scowled and looked at my mother's face. His voice softened as he said, "I want you to be my wife. I know the three of them are stubborn. I can send them away, but I want to marry you. It's been 22 years since Esther left me. Don't you think I tried and deserved to be happy?" Mom smiled sadly and replied, "You tried, but our children are a part of us. If they do not approve of us, we cannot force it." "Mm," Alpha David's fist clenched around the spoon. And Mom whispered in his right ear so closely, "We will still be friends and give them time to get along." "No. They are naughty boys, and I cannot give them any time. Do not worry about them. Once they find their mates, they will leave us. I already made up my mind for us to live together, Lucy. I love you very much, and I want you by my side, and as my Luna," Alpha David insisted, holding my mother's hands lovingly. I peered at Leon's face to see his expression regarding his father's statement. Leon frowned and looked at me. As our gaze locked, I smirked, and his eyes narrowed. Looking at his father and my mother holding hands, Leon cleared his throat and said, "Dad, we approve of you and Lucy to get married." "What!" I gasped, alongside Liam and Luis.Leon's POV:"Where is Mia? How can you remain standing outside here by the gate instead of going inside the mansion to see if she's alright?" Luis and Liam growled at me simultaneously when they arrived at the front of our father's black gate and found me standing there."Chill, guys. Mia is stable now," I said, grasping their shirts as they wore similar blue shirts like mine, paired with black trousers and black boots."Mmm," they gritted their teeth, and Luis raked his hand over his head and asked, "How do you know she's stable when you didn't go in to check?""Dad is inside, and Dr. John has already arrived to check on her," I said calmly, looking at my brothers' faces. They were worried, pacing back and forth."Still, we need to see her to be sure she's stable. I'm going inside," Liam said before walking away."Let's go in with him. We can tell Dad we heard Mia fainted. Now is the perfect time to move back in," Luis suggested, and I agreed, following them into the house."But what
Leon's POV:Due to the unexpected rogue attacks at our pack borders the previous night, where some shops were vandalized and the rogues stole from many of our pack members-most especially the market women and store owners-my brothers and I were busy. We ensured that the warriors were dispersed to secure the pack borders and maintain maximum security. We didn't have time to check on Mia either, as we were caught up in other duties.Initially, we chose to avoid her because the closer her 18th birthday got, the more we could smell her intoxicating vanilla scent, hear her heartbeat, and sense her arousal. We could even pry into her mind and mind-link her, but we hadn't done that yet.I had warned my brothers to keep their distance from Mia because she was getting ready to reject us.With Veronica's birthday the next day, my brothers and I were discussing whether we should attend it or not. Veronica was my father's beta's daughter, and my father didn't know that I had ended my relationship
Mia's POV:I didn't know why I was uneasy about Veronica's birthday the following day. Was it possible that she was going to become mated to any of the Triple L? Why was I having these restless feelings because Leon had avoided looking at my face?I was the one who used to avoid him, but now, he and his brothers had disappeared, and I couldn't see them.Shaking my head, I knew that Molly was the one having these silly thoughts about the Triple L, not me. I could not miss them, and I did not care if Veronica was mated to the triplets or not.My heart ached painfully as I said that. Before I knew it, I fell to the ground and slumped."Miss! Miss!" Mr. Andrew's voice reached my eardrums, but I lost consciousness.A few moments later, I awoke and saw myself lying on my bed in my room. My mother sat on the room chair, and I thought it was just her in the room, but as my eyes peered around, I saw Dr. John standing near my bed too.Dressed in a white dress shirt and black trousers, Dr. John
Mia's POV:When I got out of the car, I pondered what to purchase for Veronica as her birthday present. As Mr. Andrew drove the car along the pack's road, I peered at the open shops displaying some fancy wear and other items they sold.Sighing, I made up my mind to buy a beautiful golden watch for Veronica. After all, she was Leon's girlfriend, so what could I possibly give her that would surpass what her boyfriend normally gave her? When the car tires screeched to a halt, I got out and made my way into the shopping complex. As I walked through the mall, I caught sight of a shop that sold watches. The clerk, a young man in his early 30s, welcomed me. He was a Delta wolf by rank, as I could feel his wolf aura by glancing at his face."Welcome, miss," he greeted me politely. He was wearing a brown shirt and black slacks, featuring a pair of black shoes. He was tall, with striking blonde hair like mine, and he looked handsome."Thank you," I replied with a smile, realizing I had taken so
Mia's POV:Upon arriving home, I got out of the car, breathing out heavily."Is everything alright, miss?" Mr. Andrew asked in a concerned tone, but I forced a tight smile and peered at his face."Yes," I replied weakly. The more my birthday drew closer, the more I felt the bond and connection to the triplets.Molly had been dormant, but once Veronica spoke about me rejecting the triplets, Molly had risen to the surface, wanting to attack. The last time Molly did this was when Jacob had attacked me in the hotel's restroom. There were many things about my wolf that I didn't know about. She could act on her own and take control. It took a lot of resilience from me not to acknowledge the Triple L as my mates."You don't have to deny the bond, Mia. The triplets are ours!" Molly growled at me before shutting me out.Sighing, I strode ahead to Alpha David's mansion. The surroundings were calm, and the guards and maids lowered their heads at my arrival. It felt like I was their princess and
Veronica's POV:When I saw Liam and Luis walking up to me, I shrank back to run away; however, I collided with my elder brother behind me.My heart was racing, fearing that the Triple L wanted to discipline me in front of the multitude of students at this Academy, but seeing my older brother brought me relief. He held me possessively, hiding me behind his back, and he faced Liam and Luis."I will talk to Veronica. You guys don't have to humiliate her publicly because of a small misunderstanding," Godwin said, his voice stern as he peered at Liam and Luis."You should warn her to keep off from Mia. The next time Veronica does something like this again, not even you or Leon will plead with us on her behalf," Liam warned, his voice furious, and I trembled at the ferocity of his tone."Got it," Godwin replied to them, and they glared at me before walking away.Breathing out heavily, I stepped away from my older brother to thank him, but he questioned me with a hard voice, "What did you do
