04| THE ALPHA BROTHERS

"You'll be staying here."

The only thing Diana could do was to nod her head in acceptance. She needed time alone to herself so she sluggishly walked in.

This was certainly a new pack that she didn't recognize, but she had heard a lot about the Crescent pack and how powerful it was. The only advantage was that she would be safe here.

When she suddenly thought about her sister, tears brimmed the corners of her eyes. "Don't talk to anybody here except I tell you to."

She had no choice. He was now her master so she only had to nod her head. The room was big enough at least more than she had expected. "I'll have some maids serve you soon." She sat on the soft bed, and watched him walk out of the room.

Her body was bruised seriously and she was looking ill and tired. For days she had been running and trying to escape the wicked hands of fate, but finally it caught up with her. She had no idea how her life in the Crescent pack would be like without her sister.

She laid down on the bed and tried to shut her eyes, but the flashes of her sister's throat being slited continue recurring to her. She had no idea when a tear fell off and the only thing Diana could do was cry by herself. Ava was gone for good. Her only hope, family, and companion was gone for good.

Ava had always been with her everyday since their parents death. She took care of her and protected her with her life.

"Ava." Diana mumbled to herself trying to be strong like her sister had told her to. Then she recalled Ava's words.

"Promise you'll come back for me."

There would be no coming back anymore.

The knob of the door twisted and the door began opening. Diana watched him walk in holding a box of first aid in his hands. He sat close to her and stare at her for a few seconds.

"Give me your hands." He said.

She did as told and when he was done rubbing some ointment on her wound, he picked up the box and rose up on his feet.

"May I know your name?"

"Call me young master." He said.

He tried to take another step. "Why did you save me?"

"Because you asked me to save you."

When there was no more question to ask, she allowed him leave the room without further stopping him. Why was he so gently and quiet but a little bit rude.

Again, she laid on her bed and drifted off to sleep.

***********

"Do you perceive that?" Zane questioned. Asher tried his best to focus on what his brother had just said, and when the sweet vanilla scent hit him, it instantly made his wolf excited.

"I can perceive it too. Who's new in the mansion?" He questioned.

"Only one way to find out."

They began hastening their footsteps. Both brothers wanted to be the first to find out what was making their wolf aroused. Killian was seated on the longest couch in the living room when they both walked in.

"Here you are again? You never do anything other than sit at home when father clearly wants us to look after the company." Asher said.

"I have no business with the company, and I'm certain you two can handle it yourself. Why do I even bother when it's clear you both don't want me to take part in whatever you're doing."

The sweet scent hit them strong again. "At least you know your place brother, and that enough." Zane said tapping his shoulders slightly.

They began heading towards the stairs, but then Killian had to look back. He didn't know what his two brothers were up to, but it was never something good.

"Is there a new maid in the house?"

The words rang to his ears like a warning bell. When his brothers continued approaching the room, he was forced to follow behind them.

They all halted right in front of Diana's room. "I can hear a loud footstep in there. Who's there."

"It's…"

The door suddenly opened, and Diana stepped out with her long blonde hair falling behind her back and a short white cloth which was only available in the room. Her big cyan eyeballs were so beautiful that it could melt even the soul of a monster. Asher was the first to notice Diana plump and red lips and he found himself swallowing his saliva and wanting to have a taste of those strawberry lips.

Diana didn't utter a word but could only stare at the Triplets who looked almost alike, but she couldn't easily notice their difference.

Asher and Zane both had piercing in their ears, and judging by their looks, she knew they were not sone weak guys. They were tall and had deep brown eyes unlike Killian who had golden eyes. Judging by their height, they were both about 6.2ft tall with dark hair. The one with a smile on his face which was Asher looked cuter to Diana, but she immediately discarded any thought because she had no idea who they were

Surprisingly, Killian took Diana by the hand. "I fucking don't want any of you getting close to her. She's mine so don't fucking cross the line."

As Killian wanted to walk away with Diana, Zane held his shoulders to stop him, but Asher also made sure to hold Zane's left hand.

"Let him go." Asher instructed.

Diana could feel the heavy tension between the three of them, and it made her scared. She had no idea what was going on, but she definitely knew that neither of the two liked Killian.

"Let's go." Killian said to Diana. She cocked her head towards his direction and began walking with him. There was really a lot to this brothers that she had not even the slightest idea about.

"Let's see who's the boss. Zane." Asher called still staring at Diana as she walked away. He had every reason to like her because she was his ideal kind of woman. He had never wanted anything so desperate in his life, but upon seeing Diana for the first time, everything in his mindset drastically changed. Now, he badly wanted the beautiful lady with a blonde hair, cyan eyeballs, and strawberry plump lips.

With a smirk on his lips, he said, "I want that lady."
