Denae stared into her dresser mirror, brushing her hair behind her ears…it was now time to sneak down to the abandon bathroom near the pack borders, it was time for her to visit Zaid.
Her steps were slow and steady as she walked towards her door, gripping the knob and twisting it. Claudia wasn’t here…as promised, she had gone to visit Jerald, keeping him busy enough so that Denae didn’t really have to worry about him catching her.
But Denae still had three girls to worry about…Gia, Hannah and Elizabeth…
With careful hands, she pulled her door open, listening to the low, creaky sound it made. She stepped through it, heading down the hall and then down the sturdy wooden stairs.
She looked around, studying the darkness in the house with eyes that were focused and unwavering. The things she had to do to survive…
Sighing, she walked towards the exit when she neither heard nor saw anyone, opening up the noisiest door in this house; the front door.
She hissed silently at it, glancing behind her once more before stepping through it…however, as soon as she did, she regretted it because outside stood both of her nightmares; Claudia and her evil husband.
They turned to her, and Denae nervously twisted away.
“Ohh Denae…where are you going this late?”
“Fresh air…” Denae breathed out. “I couldn’t sleep, so I was going out for some fresh air.”
“I was actually coming to see you.” He stepped away from Claudia, his movements leading him just inches away from Denae’s ears. “I actually have the perfect remedy to put you asleep.”
She could hear the smirk in his voice even before she saw it, and her stomach twisted when his arms wrapped around her waist. “I’m sorry Claudia, it seems Denae requires my attention more than you.”
Claudia pouted at him, reaching for his free hand and pathetically tugging at it. “But Jerald…you promised…you said you’d sleep in my room tonight.”
Jerald glared down at her hand, his gaze willing her to let go him. “You’d better go to your room before you make me angry, Claudia.”
Claudia’s eyes watered as she let go of him, wiping angrily at her tears. “This always happens…I hate you!”
Jerald’s hand loosened around Denae’s waist just to grab harshly at Claudia’s face. “I already satisfied you, didn’t I? Stop annoying me and go to your f*cking room.”
Her fear was palpable now, Denae could see it in her eyes even in the darkness.
“O-Okay.” She whispered.
He let go of her and smiled. “Good, now give me a kiss before you go.”
Claudia tipped up on her toes, kissing the man’s lips without hesitation, and then she walked through the door Denae just came out of. Denae couldn’t understand what was going through that girl’s head when she kissed him or when she attempted to beg him to stay with her instead…but she wished Jerald had gone.
“Denae, my love…the breeze is cool, isn’t it? We could stay out here for a while before I loll you to sleep.” Denae held her head low, a chill running down her spine when his arm wrapped around her waist again. “What do you think about that?”
“I think…I think you should go c-comfort Claudia…s-she…I mean she was c-crying.”
The man’s grip around her tightened as he pulled her against his chest, his revolting scent nauseating her. “You don’t have the authority to tell me what to do, Denae. You’re more precious to me than Claudia ever could be, it’s okay for her to cry, she’ll come running back with a smile at the breakfast table tomorrow morning.”
“But…But sh~”
“Shh…enough about Claudia, let’s go to your room, my c*ck’s already hard…not for her, but for you.”
Denae’s jaws clenched in frustration as he led her back inside, tracing the stairs back to her room. He clicked the door locked and that was when tears gathered in her eyes. He knew this wasn’t what she wanted…he knew she hated it whenever he came to her room or whenever he demanded her presence in his…
He was only doing this to get on her nerves…to fuel her hate for him even more.
He sauntered over to her bed, taking a seat at the very edge of it with that mischievous smirk on his disgusting lips. “Come here darling…come sit on your husband’s lap.”
Denae entangled her hands in front of her, rooted in her place by the door. “N-No…I don’t…I don’t want that.”
“I see…gentleness has never worked on you…I forgot that you were a masochist…just like your mother.”
Denae looked up at him, the tears gathered in her eyes finally spilling. She knew what he was going to say next, he had said it so many times…and it was more painful every single time. “Please don’t…”
“Don’t what? Don’t tell you how I held your father’s face up after crippling all his limbs just so he could watch my men f*cking into his crying mate over and over again? She responded just like you, she was still trashing around and crying even after the fifth c*ck entered he~”
“Stop…Stop it p-please…”
“Then must I ask you again to come sit in your husband’s lap?”
Denae slowly moved closer to him, her heart trembling in fear and scourged by pain. She sat down on the very edge of his lap, back turned to him. “Face me, darling…I want to see that look of resentment on your beautiful face.”
Denae hesitated, but slowly twisted around on his lap, her eyes regarding him with the resent he was familiar with. He smiled as though he was happy to see the raw hate in her eyes. “Take off your dress.”
“N-No…No…I don’t want this, I never wanted this.”
“What you wanted has never been important…because you’re weak Denae, only the strong can get what they want and that’s why I attained you…because I am strong. So, take off your little dress before I tear it apart.”
Denae shook her head. “I do~no…you-you’re the weak one…you attacked when we were unprepared and y-you…you took lives that never threatened yours.”
The man chuckled darkly, his expression changing too quickly to be real. “You never listen darling, and that’s why I always have to apologize after making love to you.” In swift movements, he had her beneath him on the bed, his eyes growing darker as he ripped her dress in half…exposing everything she wanted to hide. “I’ll give it to you just how you like it; rough and forceful…I tend to enjoy it that way as well.”
Denae shoved the plate of cookies that she had not touched on the kitchen counter and contemplated throwing the roses away twice before putting them in an old, empty vase she found. If she threw them away, then Gia, Elizabeth and Hanna would only report it back to Jerald.Sighing, she placed them by the window close to the kitchen sink then headed out of the house and towards the dining area that resided beside the pack house. She was hungry, Jerald had kept her locked away in her room for hours; laid up against her pillow with her on top of him.Every second she laid there, she was continuously wishing that she had a weapon somewhere on her; a knife or even a string to wrap tightly around his f*cking neck. He’d been calm and vulnerable, he had even closed his eyes…If only…Denae ran a hand through her hair, she hated herself for missing such an opportunity. She could’ve killed him, her revenge could’ve been over and done with and yet she was stupid enough to let it pass by.Entering
Denae reached for his hand when it became hard for her to breathe, trying to tug it away from her neck. “P…Please I…it’s…a lie.”“A lie, how so?”“Let me…” She coughed, her eyes watering. “Let me explain.”Jerald squeezed tighter for a second, then reluctantly loosened his hand around her neck. “One slip Denae…one word that I dislike, and I’ll have your head.”Denae sucked in air quickly, filling her lungs and still holding onto his hands as she sat up. “It’s not what you think…I…I really couldn’t sleep last night…I…you…and my heat; it’s near. I was hot and bothered and I…”“And you…?”Denae gripped his hand tighter, an act that revealed her crave for mercy. “It probably…it probably felt different because I…for the first time I…I touched myself.”Even though it was not true, Denae was still embarrassed to say such words, especially when there were so many people around to hear.“And about breakfast?”“Claudia…Claudia told me you canceled it…I…I’d never say that.” Fresh tears graced he
Denae twisted awake in her bed, breathing hard with eyes that were as wide as saucers. She had just woken up from a nightmare, one which included her imaginary depiction of how her parents died. Jerald had told her the whole story and because of that, she could easily picture the awful scene in the nightmares that haunted her at night.Rubbing her eyes, she shuffled off the bed and towards the one bathroom in the house that she unfortunately shared with the other girls. On mornings like this when Jerald demanded they all have breakfast together, they’d get ready and leave for the dining house as soon as the sun came out.But today, they were all still here, waiting patiently by the four face basins aligned side by side in the bathroom.“Did you enjoy watching me cry like a fool last night?”Denae looked towards Claudia as she entered the room clouded by a threatening aura. “I enjoyed nothing about last night…now if you could move so that I can brush my teeth and wash my face…”Claudia
Now naked against the dirty tiles of the floor, Denae looked up at Zaid who looked down at her with dark, hazel eyes. “Spread your legs.”The reluctance in Denae’s eyes was obvious as her legs slowly opened, revealing everything to him. He got down before her, spreading her legs even wider, and his eyes; those beautiful balls of perfection observed her fixedly.“Was this how hard you two went at it?” He chuckled in amusement, but in his dark eyes, all she saw was disgust, or was it a flash of anger? A small ounce of pity that disappeared as soon as it came… “I smell blood…”Denae blinked away from him when his eyes drifted up from between her legs to stare at her. He sighed, tugging her thighs closed and forcing her legs over one of his shoulders. “W-What are yo~?”“Shut up and keep your legs tightly closed Denae, that’s all you need to do.”Denae bit her lips, trying her best not speak as he forced his thick, hard length between her closed thighs. He groaned as he did so, and the sou
Denae stumbled back, feeling entirely broken for the second time tonight. How could Zaid do this to her? She was aware that he hated the fact that they were mates…but did it repulse him this much?Enough to have him making love to another woman so close to where he made love to her…Denae wanted to turn her back and run away from the scene, but she was rooted in her spot, watching as Zaid’s lips skimmed over hers in a kiss he had never shared with her.Her eyes watered and her chest felt as though it was ruthlessly ripped open…pain and anxiety clouding her very vision, but she could see…For she saw it clearly when he turned to where she stood, smiling as he thrust into the moaning woman who was too blinded by pleasure to notice anything.Denae stepped back again, shocked; filled to the brim with disbelief. He knew she was here, didn’t he? He knew she was watching and yet still he w…Was he doing this to hurt her?Was he doing this because she showed up late?Denae twisted on her hee
