LOGINLilith:
His words shook me as the memories of being down there came back to me. I had promised myself never to be taken there again.
"Fantastic! I'll take your silence as a no! So, it's your duty as a pack member to obey and be grateful that you'll get to be Luna of the pack.
Besides, you don't have a mate and I doubt that you'll ever have one."
The more he talked, the more I realized that I didn't have a choice to find a mate.
"The wedding is in two days and that's Final!" He declared.

One day. I only had one day and after that I was going to be married to that scumbag of a son, Ryder.
Ever since I got back to my room the previous day, I didn't want to talk or see anyone.
I was still curled up in my bed as the sun's rays were trying to break into my room. I could tell that I was around noon.
My stomach rumbled, demanding to be fed but my appetite had gone on a vacation.
The entire night, I had spent tossing and turning wondering if this was supposed to be my fate. Married to the one man that I couldn't even stand his sight, not the best way to spend the rest of my life.
I'll give you a brief story time.
Twenty years prior to that day, Alpha Zander was going for a run in the woods when he stumbled on a small basket, placed just at the edge of the forest.
Inside it was a beautiful baby girl with emerald green eyes and a smile that captured his soul. Taking the girl back to his Pack house, he vowed to look after her and care for her as his own.
He named her Lilith Ashford, the name of his grandmother who had passed away recently.
That girl is me!
As he raised her and cared for me, I grew up with his son Ryder as my brother. As children, we got along perfectly, but as soon as we turned fifteen, things started changing.
During training, I always proved to be more capable than Ryder. I guess his mother, Raven, never liked that and pushed for Zander to kick me out of the Pack house. By the time I was sixteen, I was already living in the small room that I was living in at the moment.
Ryder grew more egocentric and didn't bother to improve on anything since being the Alpha's son, everything was handed to him on a silver platter. Ever since that day, he always found new ways to piss me off to the point where the mentioning of his name made my blood boil.
I was now supposed to get married to him?
I doubted if I'd even survive the first night.
A knock on the door stirred me back to my senses and Seren was calling me from outside. Lazily, I got up and opened the door before I jumped back on the bed.
"I just heard the news. Are you going to be okay?" She asked as I buried my head in the pillows, contemplating whether death by suffocation was a better way to go.
"If I asked you to smother me with this pillow, will you?" I asked back, proving my state of mind at the moment.
"I would, but I doubt that I'll survive without you," she responded with a weak smile.
Just as I was about to add something, another knock rang at the door.
"Who could it possibly be this time?" I questioned, wanting to disappear completely.
"Probably your fiance." Seren joked as I stared daggers at her and she lifted her hands in surrender.
She went to open the door and true to her guess, it was Ryder standing at the door. I immediately looked next to my bed for something I could grab and hurl at him, but just as I was about to stretch and grab the lamp by the bedside table, Seren called out to me.
"Lilith!"
‘Oh Moon Goddess.’ I lamented . ‘Please tell me that he is here to call off our wedding.’
Serene must've guessed my thought process and knew what I was about to do. Turning to Ryder, she asked him bluntly.
"What do you want?"
"I'm just here to bring her her dress,"
Ryder responded, holding up a box that was tapped up. "We don't want the next Luna of the Silverfang Pack looking casual at her own wedding,do we?"
That was it, the nerve on this man for him to say that was my last straw. I shot up out of the bed and made my way to him. Serene immediately stepped out of my way, seeing how mad I was.
I inched up to him such that I was all up in his face. "Why me? Why the rush to have a Luna the same day that you're being crowned Alpha?" I questioned him. "I have no problem with you being Alpha. My only problem is that you want me as your Luna and I'll be damned if that happens!" I added, feeling a rush of adrenaline in my body.
"What are going to do to stop it? It's either you do it or you're going back to the dungeons. Besides, having a Luna means I'll have a complete pack. Nothing will be missing," He responded, a cocky smile forming on his face.
As he finished his statement, the conversation that we overheard with Seren played in my head and an idea popped up.
I stepped back and started pacing around trying to piece it all together. "A complete pack? It all now makes sense. You're not doing it just because you want to, you're doing it because you are scared," I stated as I paced around even more. I could tell that my pacing was already getting on his nerves as Seren stood in the corner of the room, silent.
"Scared? Scared of what?" He inquired, with a confident look on his face.
"Not what. Who," I answered him as I stopped pacing. I slowly turned to him and said it loud and clear for him not to miss a word. "Kieran Blackwood. The Exiled Alpha."
I watched as all the blood drained from his face and he became pale. His hand twitched as his mouth dropped wide open in shock. It didn't require a genius to know
I was right!
"How the hell do you know that???" He demanded, his voice shaking with fear.
"He's coming, isn't he?" I asked with mockery.
"My father will send you---"
"---send me back to the dungeons? Go ahead. Run back to your daddy like the little pup you are!" I spat, cutting him short.
"No matter what, you're still getting married to me." He declared, slamming the door before bolting for the Pack House.
Lilith:Kieran was eyeing the three men and based on their stance, they were in for a fight. I could already see another bloodbath and this time, it would happen right in front of my eyes. There was no way I was in for that trauma, being that I knew the three men, even if it wasn't to a personal level. I had to act fast. If the fight was to ensue, I doubted that Alpha Zander and the rest of the pack would even notice. And even if they would, there was no chance that they would get to where we were in time to do anything. They would likely just come to pick up our mutilated bodies.Thinking back to when Kieran attacked, I wondered why he had picked me and taken me as a hostage. Why did he want to take me out of the pack border so much that he risked jumping the trench with me in his mouth?Perhaps I would come to know later and I was already thinking of how I would find it out. Kieran took a step forward and I rose to my feet, making sure I stood between him and the three men."Look,
Lilith:Two days had already passed. I was still getting married to that scumbag whether I liked it or not. In a matter of minutes, I'd have to kiss him. On the mouth?Just thinking about it made me retch, nearly vomiting all over the clothes I had on for the second wedding.I couldn't believe it, before hitting twenty five years of age, I get to say that I've had two marriages in less than a week. To the same man, surprisingly.I was inside the room where Zander made sure that I got used to because he knew that the second he let me out of the Pack house, I'd be in the wind within a matter of minutes. That was by far the smartest thing that he had done so far.If he really trusted Ryder with the future of the Pack, it was safe to start saying our goodbyes before the pack crumbles and disintegrates into ash. This time, they didn't go all out like before with the dressing. They just asked me to put on something simple and my interpretation of simple was a gray sweatpant, black hoodie a
Lilith:Standing there was Seren, in shock, the same shock that I was in but for different reasons.'This can't be heaven,' I said to myself as I realized that either this was my mind playing games with me or this was my afterlife. Perhaps it was my hell."You're up? You're up!" Seren said, the first sentence sounding surprised and probably questioning what she was seeing as the second statement was her realization of what she was seeing. Her eyes lit up and she would have crushed me if I had not stopped her from diving onto me like a mad person. She paused mid-run and came next to me, still in shock. While she was still trying to get over the shock, I was still in a state of confusion, trying to understand what really happened."What happened?" I asked her, as I moved back to lean on the headboard of the bed."You don't know? I thought you'd be the one to tell me everything. We'll talk about that later. Tell me how you're feeling to start with.” She requested."Like I've just come
Lilith:I turned my neck and tried looking into the direction that he was facing and that's when I saw it. He was looking over the edge of a huge trench that acted as the territory boundary for the Silverfang Pack. The trench stretched for miles and was around fifty feet wide. It was deep, around the same fifty feet but nobody knew for sure. Along the walls of the trench all the way to the bottom, it was covered with trees and plants but one slip, you'd end up bumping your head on every tree till you got to the bottom. One would be lucky to survive a fall like that.I was guessing that Kieran was thinking of a way of getting over the boundary since this one was impossible for him to make the jump.Behind us, the sound of the Pack members were getting close and Kieran had little time to think. My heart started racing when he went back around fifty feet, stood there and faced the direction of the trench.'He can't be serious, can he?' I questioned myself as I could already picture him
Lilith:I held my breath as everything else around me seemed to disappear. All I could hear in my ears was a constant ringing and the fading sound of reality.Kieran stood there, looking at me for what I could only guess to be around a whole minute. His eyes, glowing and reflecting my own reflection in them, showed how of a mess I was.My hair ruffled up, my eyes wide with shock and a side of my mouth twitching from fear. Despite being under this monster, everything started to feel like it was okay. The fear started to subside as it crept closer, sniffing me on my face and around my shoulders. My breasts bobbed up and down from the deep breaths that I was taking at intervals, not wanting to piss him off.I could hear Alpha Zander giving orders in the distance and without even looking, I knew that Ryder was somewhere cowered in fear behind his father. My only worry was Seren. She was crazy enough to come running and try to attack this monster. Luckily for me and her, she didn't. After
Lilith:It was around eleven at night. The moon, rising from its slumber, cast its light onto the crowd of people gathered at the center of the pack village. It was a huge space where Alpha Zander used to host public meetings, executions and the like. The pack members were seated and right at the front was Ryder, standing so proudly waiting for me to walk down the red carpet that was laid out to be my aisle. The gown that he had dropped at my doorstep the previous day, clung tightly on my body. I felt like it was burning up my skin and couldn't wait to get it off of me. Standing at the beginning of the aisle, all eyes were on me. Seren was at the front of the crowd, with the look of disbelief on her face.'I know, I don't believe it either.' I said to myself. That's when I realized how silent it had been for me. Something wasn't right in my head. Something was missing.Tugging at the dress on the side, I wanted to bring my claw out and tear it to shreds. Just as the thought was cr
