WILLOW’S POV

A feeling of sadness washed over me when Jaden spoke

"I should be asking you the questions, Willow. Who are you, and why are you on the run."

I knew it was time to reveal who I really am because even in my doubt, I could feel Jaden's kindness to me and also sense that he was not a cruel man.

"My father, Alpha Zain, was a cruel man. He didn't care about anyone but himself and his own power. He treated the pack members like slaves and would often kill anyone who spoke out against him," I stated, my voice shaking with emotion.

Jaden looked at me in shock and his eyes filled with anger. "Alpha Zain is your father," he said with a growl.

“Unfortunately, yes he is. I am the only daughter of Alpha Zain. I have an elder brother.”

“Why, why did you not tell me this earlier.” he almost screamed, I could see his eyes become darker, his fangs protruding as his wolf tried to take control.

“I am sorry”, I moved away from him, he looked so scary I wanted to run. I was afraid
