Think Positive

Arabella rolled to her side and let out a wince. She opened her eyes slowly.

For a few seconds, she tried to recall where she was as she stared at the iron cage that surrounded her.

She sat up straight and her eyes collided with a large dog which stood a few feet from her.

It snarled, and its golden eyes glinted.

Arabella cowered and hugged her knees to her chest as it prowled towards her. She breathed out, staring down at her body. Her lower lip trembled as she glimpsed the weals that covered her skin.

Then, she recalled all that had happened.
