“Would you like us to train?” Dominic asked during recess, shocking Selene, who wasn't expecting that at all.

“Sure.” She smiled and they stood up. As they walked to the dojo, Selene couldn't help but stare at him. He didn't have that usual frown and snobbish look on his face, he had a grin plastered on his face instead. That brought a smile to her face.

She saw Asher coming from a distance and facepalmed internally, wishing he would just pass her by without looking for her trouble but it seemed her prayers wouldn't be answered.

He stopped in front of her, grinned at Dominic and then averted his gaze back to her. “Are you two like a thing now?” He questioned, mockery dripping from his voice.

“Let's just leave,” She muttered to Dominic and was about to go but Asher held her hand. “Let go of me!” She yanked her hands away from him but he held it again.

Goodness knew she was fighting the urge to punch him in the face.

Dominic said nothing and just stood watching them for the meantime
