Kavian’s POV

“Nonsense!” Father’s voice boomed across the pavilion, catching the torchlight and throwing it back like a challenge. His hand swept toward the women at our sides as if he were unveiling trophies. “I know when something is bothering my boys. Are they to your satisfaction? If not, I’ll fetch you another.” The grin that split his face was all predatory charm and command.

I forced a laugh that didn’t reach my eyes. “That won’t be necessary, Father.” The women were beautiful, the sort of beauty the camp was built to parade — silk-smooth skin, practiced smiles, bodies taught how to move for pleasure. Even if he could somehow conjure more women whose faces were carved from marble, it wouldn’t change anything. None of them were Rosemary.

She was the only one who set something savage loose in me, something that scared me. It wasn’t a pleasant ache or a welcome hunger; it was an animal panic that tightened my chest and made the edges of the world tilt. I’d watched my brothers tell

Author's povLocation: Moonlit Shadow’s PackIt was a quiet morning, the kind where the air still carried a light chill and the sky was only beginning to brighten. The morning guards were already relieving the night-shift guards at the fence, exchanging brief murmurs as they settled into position. But their easy rhythm shattered when they noticed a lone figure advancing toward the gate.Their eyes widened—instantly recognizing him. A ripple of fear passed between them.It was the notorious Alpha Damian of the Nightshade Wolves’ pack. One of the guards didn’t hesitate; he rang the warning bell hard and fast, sending sharp echoes throughout the territory.Inside the pack house, Tristan—now acting Alpha after his father stepped down—was deep in discussion with two elders about strengthening their defenses and improving food supply. The sound of the bell cut through the room like a blade.Tristan’s expression hardened. In a fluid motion, he reached for his sword and signaled the nearby wa

Kavian’s pov“What do you want to hear from me? What do you want me to say?” she said, and I could hear a slight crack in her voice. That tiny fracture hit me like a punch, crushing something deep in my soul because it was the first real sign of how much she was holding in.“The truth,” I said, and she scoffed softly—quiet but sharp—almost like my statement was hypocritical, like she already knew I wasn’t as transparent as I pretended to be.“What is it? Is there something you want to say to me?” I asked, leaning in slightly, searching her face. She went quiet, completely still, like she was forcing every word back down her throat, refusing to let anything slip out.“Is there something you want to say to me? Are you feeling guilty about something? Is there something I ought to know that you haven't told me?” She redirected the question to me so suddenly that it caught me off guard. I was left stunned, my heartbeat skipping because it felt like she was staring right through me.“I… no.

( Note: The previous chapter is chapter 139 not 138)Kavian’s POV “If I may speak, Father,” I asked for permission, and he gave a slight nod. I stood up, keeping my tone calm and respectful.“Thank you. I understand the need for us to return home—to settle the rising crisis and help Mother heal. But don’t you think we’re rushing things a little too fast?” I paused, glancing around the tent before continuing. “Rose only came here to meet you, Father. She’s expected to return to her own pack and people. So how is it that we’re already planning to travel across the ocean to Varshan Hold today? I’m sorry, but I don’t think that's feasible.”I tried to keep my words measured, but the tension in the room was thick enough to choke on.Father leaned back slightly, his expression unreadable. “I understand your point, my son, and I have considered that as well. Her friend who accompanied her will convey the message to her pack—with an official letter from me. Rose is already part of this pack,

Rose’s POV “What are you doing?” Kavian asked as he came closer, his deep voice pulling me out of my thoughts.“Mm… I’m looking for Laura. I don’t know where she slept,” I said distractedly, my mind still replaying the old lady’s strange words — sacrificial lamb. They lingered in my head like a whisper I couldn’t shake off, so much that I barely met Kavian’s eyes.“Laura slept in Shirin’s tent,” he said, then his gaze sharpened on me. “Is something wrong?”“Mm… that old lady—” I paused, then quickly waved it off. “Forget it, it’s nothing. Can you please take me to the tent?”He studied me for a moment, as if trying to read what I wasn’t saying, before nodding. “Alright, come with me.”He reached for my hand, and I slipped mine into his, resting it against his arm as we walked. His warmth was comforting, grounding me when my thoughts still felt clouded.“So,” he said after a pause, his tone casual but edged with something else. “How was your night?”The question made me glance up at hi

Author’s POV“I… I—” Laura stuttered, her face flushed and her voice trembling slightly.“You don’t have to worry,” Arman said calmly, his tone laced with reassurance. “I’ll leave the place for you and go sleep with one of my brothers. I don’t think Shirin will be making use of his room anyway.” The last part came out with a faint teasing note—his subtle reference to Shirin and Rose still inside the tent, their sounds of passion faintly echoing through the camp.“Thank you,” Laura murmured, her voice soft, almost hesitant, and she followed him quietly to his tent.“Alright,” Arman said once they arrived. “Make yourself comfortable. See you in the morning.”He turned slightly, about to leave—but there was a silent war raging inside Laura. Her heart hammered against her chest, battling between guilt and the fire burning low in her stomach. It took him nearly walking out the door for her to finally speak.“Wait,” she said quickly.Arman paused and turned back to face her. “Do you need an

  • Mated To The Quadruplets Lycan Alphas    Chapter 137

Kavian’s POV I looked around and noticed all my brothers were still inside—except for Shirin. That could only mean one thing: Shirin was the one with Rose.Immediately, a strange wave of jealousy washed over me. It was ridiculous—I knew it was—but it didn’t stop the heat rising in my chest. She was his mate too, our mate. I thought I had gotten past this… that the possessive, selfish side of me had died the night we all mated her together. But clearly, I hadn’t. Because before I even realized what I was doing, I was already heading toward her tent, every step faster than the last, as if she were in danger and not simply… with him.I hadn’t even reached the tent when I heard her moans—soft, breathless sounds that sent a sharp twist through my chest. My heart clenched painfully, and I froze for a second, torn between turning back and pushing forward. I already knew what I was about to see, and I knew it wasn’t something I wanted to witness. But something inside me—something raw and ugl
