Chapter Seven 

Sabrina 

I thought we were finally getting somewhere but it seemed impossible. Just as I thought he was going to kiss me he left abruptly. What's a Luna ceremony I thought to myself. Catherine entered the room and my mood changed. 

" Good evening Luna" he said with courtesy.

" Sabrina is just fine. What's a Luna ceremony?" I finished.

" It is a gathering of all pack members for the representation of Luna over dinner." She said with a big smile.

" So, basically all I have to do is show up, no long talks?"

"Something like that, just introduce yourself, that's all."

" Thank you, " I replied.        

After taking my bath I dried my hair with a towel and wore my dressing robe. I was feeling a bit uneasy but not much to change my mood. I watched through the mirror as she did her magic on my face.This time around she straightened my hair before laying loose curls on the tips. 

  My red hair was looking brighter and vibrant. she searched my closet until her eyes settled for a very long hot spicy dress. She smiled as she helped me put it on. It was an off shoulder dress with the back opened till the waist region. The dress had a long split from my left thigh downwards. The dress was stunning, I love it. I looked at myself in the mirror and was surprised at what I saw. I looked like a queen as Catherine put the crown made of red rubies as the stones on it. The dress hung tightly to my figure I never noticed I had. I wore bright red heels to match with the dress. It's now or never I said to myself.

" You look very stunning Luna" Catherine said with a satisfied smile on her lips.

" Thank you for your help" I said and hugged her tightly.

" Shine Luna'' she said as I saw a tear escape her eyes. She quickly left before I could ask why she was crying. It was already seven thirty. I had thirty minutes to arrive at the clearing in the forest, that's where the party is to be held. I went outside the pack house to see a limousine already packed out. On seeing me the chuffer opened the door and I entered. 

It was a twenty minute ride to the forest clearing. I waited in the car and looked around. I saw that the ceremony had already started. I was surprised. Maybe I didn't hear the time properly, I thought but I know I clearly heard it. A knock on the car door brought back my attention. Ace's face came into view. He wore a beautiful white suit and a rose in his pocket. His red eyes were more pronounced and it looked lovely under the moonlight. I held onto his outstretched hands and got lifted out of the car. I smiled as I looked at him, I was reaching his shoulders.

" I see you've grown a bit tall this evening" he said with a little laugh.

I smiled in return. I loved the sound of his laughter. It was like sweet honey. 

" You look captivating " he said while using his eyes to roam my body from all angles. He had a faraway look in his eyes. His eyes were glowing a darker shade of red. I think his wolf is fighting for control. 

" It's almost time for your introduction " he said as I knew he won the fight with his wolf. I liked the effect I had on him. He held my waist and I felt sparks of pleasure pass through me.I looked up at him and saw him also looking down at me. He definitely felt that. 

" It's time to introduce our very own Luna, mate of the alpha. He squeezed my hands in reassurance. 

  As I walked through the clearing I felt all eyes on me. Ace wasn't by my side again. He walked back to his seat so I would know where to sit. I smiled as I confidently walked to my seat. Some men stared hungrily at me while some gasped . Some ladies were giving me the death stare while others stared with admiration. I walked swiftly and sat beside my mate. He held my hands possessively. I looked into his eyes and discovered it was dark red. His wolf is sure jealous and overly possessive I said to myself.

 Ace

 The moment I saw her my wolf fought to take control. He just wants to hold his mate and mark her already. He needs to calm down, Sabrina isn't ready for that yet. Hell she doesn't even know about it.The way the dress hung her figure and showed all her feminine curves. Damm she was sexy. With all the skin at her back being showcased and her cleavage. I was slowly getting intoxicated with her beauty. I held her waist as I could not resist the urge to touch her.As she walked the split in her dress moved to the sides to expose her perfect, spotless white skin. I was slowly losing it as my eyes turned a dark shade of red. It angered me as I saw dirty looks some men gave her. I mean she's too beautiful. 

" Go easy on her man" Troy who was at the left side of me said while laughing. 

" She looks like a goddess. If you still insist on rejecting her, you can always give her to me. I'll be more than pleased." Troy said with a mischievous grin.

" Not a chance" I said in the calmest tune I could. Troy backed down. As she got to my right I quickly held her and helped her seat. Lance has been extra possessive. She smiled that sweet buttery smile that melts my insides. The ceremony continued and it was time to strengthen our bond.

We both got up and went to the front of the gathering. After taking our oaths it was time for the blood oat. We both took a knife that was provided and cut ourselves very deep so it won't heal fast. As we connected our bleeding hands together I felt a very sharp pain. I endured it for the two minutes we were to stay like that. As we pulled away her wound healed but mine did not. I stared at the raw flesh as I realised there was silver in her blood. I could imagine the pain she must feel. As the ceremony ended I rushed to the pack doctor. My hands were bandaged. I ask him to run a test on Sabrina.
