Chapter 12. Maryline and Eve

Adams and I slept in each other's arms without realising it.

"It's Morning Eve!" Maryline barges into my room, she moves straight to the window blinds and opens them as usual without inspecting the room.

The early morning light of dawn seeps into the room as soon as Maryline opens the blinds. He immediately wakes up when the light strikes his sight.

"Aaarrrr!" she quiver when she turns and finds Adams in bed. "Sorry, my prince, I had no idea of your presence. I thought you left last night!" Maryline widens her stare in frustration.

"It's fine!" he gently gets up from the bed. He fixes his shirt then his tie, then he hangs his coat on his shoulders holding it with two fingers. "See you later!" he kisses my forehead then he leaves.
