12. Her Savior

“Pregnant? For who? Who has been fucking the slut?” Someone said.

“She’s shameless. She’s going to get expelled. Indeed she’s classy with no levels.” Another said.

“This is why omegas shouldn’t be allowed in this school.” Another said.

And just like that, there were whispers. They didn’t attempt to know the truth and I didn’t know if I was pregnant too but I was scared.

“You are shameless. So who is the father of your child?” Adriana asked.

She leaned to look at me. When I didn’t look at her? She forcefully made me too as she grabbed my chin, lifting my face to look at her.

“Speak up before I force the words out of your mouth. Who is the father of your child?” She asked.

“I’m not pregnant,” I replied, tears streaming down my cheeks.

At least not yet since I never got to confirm if I was.

“Bitch!” She slapped my face so hard. “How dare you let those dirty tears of yours touch my hands!” She shouted, standing upright.

“Why do you keep lying? Why did you get the pregnancy test if you aren’t pregnant? Why were you trying to hide from us? You don’t want the school to know that you are a slut and a social climber?” Anna uttered.

“Who is the father of the child?” Damien finally spoke.

“I’m not pregnant,” I said that again although that was to convince myself because I didn’t know yet.

“Then why were you going to buy a pregnancy test?” He asked.

I finally looked at him and the second I saw his face, I frowned even harder. How did I let myself get carried away and it was only now that I was realizing how stupid I was for falling for a boy like him.

“I said I’m not pregnant!” I screamed.

“Have you lost your senses?” Damien chided. “Are you raising your voice at me?”

“Don’t let me hit you so hard. Even if you are pregnant, I don’t give a fuck. That’s all of your business.” Damien stated.

“Adriana, don't call me for such bull shit anymore. If she’s pregnant, that’s her fucking business and whoever got her pregnant must be fucking stupid because she’s nothing but a social climber and she’s going to taint their bloodline with her omega blood.” Damien added and I felt my stomach clench.

I hated him. I didn’t know why it took me all of this to realize that this was the kind of person that he was and no matter what I’d never be welcome here.

“So what are you going to do? Nobody seems to want your baby.” Adriana remarked with a grin on her face.

“And what do we do to sluts?” Adriana asked the crowd and they all cheered.

“Girls, go get some dirty water,” Adriana said to her minions.

Shortly after, her minions all returned with some dirty water in a bucket.

“Dump them on her and her bastard baby!” She ordered.

Tears streamed down my cheek as they dumped the bucket of dirty water on me leaving me soaked and muddy.

My hair was messy already and I remained on the floor, hurting so much.

“That’s what you get for thinking you can find your way to the top slut.” Anna uttered, letting out a high-pitched laugh.

“How about we all make a cake to celebrate her pregnancy?” Someone suggested.

I had no idea who that was but the voice was familiar. It didn’t take long before one after the other, they began to dump eggs on me.

“And here comes the butter!” Someone chuckled, applying butter all over my face, and even when I wanted to scream and ask them all to let me be, I couldn’t.

“And the flour!”

I closed my eyes as they dumped flour on me. They began to sing and laugh.

“I hope this serves as a lesson for you,” Adriana said to me. “And I pray that the baby dies in your womb!” She clapped.

“What the fuck is going on here?” I heard his voice, the voice of the one who has always come to my rescue.

“I ask, what the fuck is going on here?” He asked again, his tone clipped.

“She’s pregnant and we are embarrassing her for thinking that an omega like her can get pregnant when she’s living off of our parents’ money.” Anna answered.

“And who the fuck are you to decide the punishment she gets?” He chastised.

“It’s against the school rules for anyone to get pregnant. She got pregnant and she doesn’t even know the baby father.” Anna replied.

“And did she tell you that?” He retorted.

“What? We are only doing what is right. She cannot be pregnant and stay in this school and besides the baby father doesn’t want her!” Anna countered.

“You’ve all gone mad!” He exclaimed.

“How dare you? So what if he’s pregnant? Does that warrant this treatment? Dumping dirts on her? Are you all mentally ill?” He sounded furious.

Why was he defending me? I’ve never seen anyone defend me this much. He has come through for me more than three times. At first I found it suspicious but the way he challenged and spoke to them all on my behalf made me rethink.

Was he genuinely a good person or he’s just like Damien but better at covering his acts? But that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I’ve never had anyone stand up for me with so much anger against those who were bullying me.

Who are you Noah and why are you like this to me? I couldn’t help but ask.

“This will be the last time that I say it but the next time anyone comes for her, you will have me to face and I don’t fucking mind if I have to burn down the whole school to pass my message.” He stated firmly.

Noah walked towards me. I expected for him to stretch his hands for me to take but instead, he scooped me in his arms and walked away.
