13. In the city

“Strip her until she’s left with her underwear and have her flogged.” Alpha Asher ordered and I looked around wondering who it was that he had ordered to be flogged.

It was just him, me, Ryker, and Elena who were in the room so who could he possibly be talking about?

When I saw Elena walking towards me, my heart skipped. “Me?” I asked, pointing my index finger at myself.

“Are you seriously asking?” Alpha Asher uttered, turning to look at me. “Who else would be punished if not for you?”

“What did I do?” I sounded confused.

His jaw clenched. “And what didn’t you do?”

“All of what had happened this night happened all because of you.” He accused, taking steps towards me.

My heart began to drum rapidly in my chest as he walked closer. I was confused because I thought everything was done and all I had to do was sleep for the night.

He hasn’t called me to his room for three days and it has been the best days of my life up until tonight when I saw him cut off the fingers of a man because the man touched me indecently.

I don’t mind Nick getting punished but I felt the punishment was extreme and now he wants to have me flogged too.

“If you didn’t have to seduce him, he wouldn’t have seen you and that’s why you’d get flogged for looking like a slut.” He said through his teeth, his words piercing through my chest.

I mentally scoffed because I dared not do that to his face. I thought he was protecting me. I thought that he stood up for me but I was wrong.

He only did that to show me who he was and once again, he proves that he has no good blood running in his veins.

“I didn’t do anything.” Tears formed in my eyes. “I did as told and sat where I was told to sit.”

He scoffed. “And some he found his way to you? And whose fault is that? It’s yours. You fucking charmed him into going to you and that’s why he wanted you.”

I couldn’t believe he was blaming me when I was the victim.

“I didn’t ask for it. Why make me go there then?” I asked.

“And you have forgotten once again to never speak back to me. Do I always have to teach you a lesson before you learn?” He chided, his tone was lower than normal.

“I…”

“Not another word.” He warned.

“The only reason I had that bastard punished was because he dared to touch you. No man but me has the right to and you want to know why? Because I own every part of you and every inch of your body. What I touch, no other man is allowed to touch.” He declared.

“You will bear me a son soon when the time comes and I would be damned if I let someone come close to you but you also have to be punished so that next time you don’t use these seductive eyes of yours next time to charm men.” He uttered sternly.

“Take her away. Have her flogged six times and on her hand. We don’t want any damage to her body and afterwards, bring her to my room for the night. I will have to remind her once again who she fucking belongs too.” He seethes through his teeth.

I clenched my teeth and my fist. I was boiling with rage but there was nothing that I couldn’t do. I had no power to fight him or I’d worsen the situation and I couldn’t escape because there was no way out and the one person that I thought I had on my side didn't seem like he could do anything.

Alpha Asher walked away shortly with Ryker following behind him, leaving me and Elena in the room.

Elena took me along with her until we were on the rooftop of the mansion.

It was cold as usual. Two maids came to her. “Go get me the whips.” She ordered.

They walked away leaving just me and her.

“I must say you are the first indeed. I’m seeing sides of the Alpha I’ve never seen before.” She remarked and her statement made me confused.

“In a bad way or in a worse way?” I asked because those were the only options meant for him.

“I don’t know.” She sighed deeply.

“He’s cruel,” I uttered.

“Don’t go about saying this. I will forgive you now but others might hear and have you reported to him.” She replied and I scoffed.

Sometimes I couldn’t tell what it was that Elena was like. She was sometimes nice to me in a nonchalant way and some other times she was not.

The maids returned to the rooftop with the whips.

Elena flogged me six times as I was told and I expected her to make it hard but she didn’t flog me as hard as I expected.

It hurts having to get flogged on my palm but it was less than the imagination I had in my head.

She led me back to my room, made me take my bath, and got me dressed in the usual fit I always wear whenever I visit the Alpha’s room.

I didn’t know if the pills that Ryker gave me were still active anymore seeing how it’s been over a week since I took them so if he slept with me, I’m likely pregnant. The thought of that made me sick and scared.

Elena led me to the Alpha’s room. I felt the pit of my stomach clenched once I stepped into the dark room again, recalling the pain I always felt whenever I was in here.

The door opened and I knew that it was only Alpha Asher who could enter his room and his steps as usual made my heart race in an uncomfortable way.

“Strip.” I heard his deep voice.
