27. F**k You, Damien Randolph!

I limped my way through the cafeteria to find a spot to sit and eat when I saw Noah but he wasn’t seated alone, Adriana and her friends which was a little shocking because I know he’s not close to her.

I looked away from his table and made my way to an empty seat. I put my snacks on the table and looked and proceeded to sit only to land on my butt and a loud echo of laughter filled the room.

“Ouch!” I cried out in pain as my butt hit the floor so hard that it hurt.

I lifted my face to see the face of the person who had pulled my chair away to see it was Craig, one of the naughtiest students ever.

“Maybe you should have checked well before replying,” he snickered.

I couldn’t do anything. I looked at the table that Noah was seated at, expecting to see him coming towards me but he was speaking to Adriana. I didn’t know why that affected me.

Tears formed in my eyes. I stood up on my feet and made my way out of the cafeteria, suddenly losing my appetite. I looked my way to the rooftop. I cried out for a while, and afterwards, I felt at ease.

“He already told you that you aren’t his friend and he made it clear to you that you shouldn’t expect much so why are you angry?”

I had to remind myself of the words that he told me.

“But he’s always coming through for me even when I didn’t ask him,” I said to myself as I recalled how he stood up for me when everyone was against me.

Did he change overnight? I thought he didn’t like bullies and he was against them? I shook my head when I realized that thoughts were taking up too much space in my head.

“So this is where you always come to.”

I turned my head abruptly in the direction I heard Damien’s voice.

“I don’t see your prince with shining armour,” he remarked, taking steps closer to me.

I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes. I stood up on my feet intending to leave because I have no business with him and I don’t want to speak to him.

“Where are you going?” Damien asked, standing in front of me, blocking me from walking away.

I said nothing to him because I didn’t have anything to say to him and being in the same space as him annoys me.

“I know you are angry about the past and you hate my guts because of what I did and I’ve told you why I did that. I’m ready to make amends now and give us a chance,” he said.

I lifted my face to look at him. For someone who got his ass beaten yesterday, he was speaking too boldly for my liking and I already made it clear to him that I wanted nothing to do with him so it doesn’t make sense to me why he was still trying to come close.

“Go fuck yourself.” I was surprised to hear myself say that but I don’t regret it because he deserved it.

“Feisty. That I love,” he smiled and I rolled my eyes.

“Can you get out of my sight, respectively?"

“But I love to be around you. You know I have anything that you want and you used to like me too. You can just….”

“I regret ever liking you. I’ve said that before and I’d say it again. Get away from me. I meant what I said the other day and nothing you say or do will change my mind.” I confidently took a step back to walk away.

“How much do you know about the boy you are fucking?” Damien's questions made me halt in my tracks.

“He has been in this school for how long and you think he’s some hero? Why did you choose to be with him? He’s only been here for a month and you think he’s worthy? Or is he a rebound?”

He came to stand behind me, his tall frame towering over my height. “I have to give it to him though. He’s handsome and tall and strong but how much do you know about him?”

“You know, I did a little research about him and got nothing. I know everyone in this school and their background but His is a mystery. Or do you know him from somewhere or did you choose to be with him because you want to be fucked?”

I turned to look at him with a scowl on my face. “You are a sick bastard!”

“And you wonder why I won’t ever give a fuck about you? It’s because of this attitude of yours,” I seethe through my teeth.

“You think of nothing but sex. You see me as someone desperate for sex isn’t that it? Then you are wrong.”

Tears formed in my eyes, once again annoying me because now wasn’t the time for me to feel this way.

“You were my first! I’ve never slept with anyone before but you and you knew that and you used that against me! You…” I trailed off as my voice almost failed me, my heart burning with hurt and my stomach churned.

I pointed my index finger at him. “All you’ve been talking about is wanting me back just for your ego and thinking I’d run back to your arms because I’m a desperate person who needs your love and sex but I don’t need any of that!”

“Fuck you, Damien Randolph! You can go to help for all I care but let me make this clear to you.”

“I don’t like you anymore. My biggest mistake was ever liking you. I am not a desperate person in need of sex and love. I am not even fucking Noah and so far he has been there for me without asking me for anything and doesn’t make moves that are suspicious towards me. Maybe you need to look at yourself in the mirror to see how disgusting you are carrying a handsome face because at the end of the day, your attitude stinks, you are ugly and you will never have me!” I emphasized every word that came out of my mouth.
