The Surge To Protect My Alpha.

The Surge To Protect My Alpha.

Claire's POV.

"Release her, Beta! Do you dare question my commands?!" Alpha Chase growled furiously, the intensity of his anger apparent as he signaled to his guards.

"Let her go!" Beta Harrison finally ordered immediately, and the guards holding me let go, having initially been prepared to harm me.

If Alpha Chase hadn't shown up, I would have been a dead meat.

I stumbled to the ground, confused by the sudden change of events by the Alpha. As I gazed up at Alpha Chase, I couldn't help but wonder what had prompted him to change his mind after giving them the order to kill me.

I was tempted to simply stand and walk away as if nothing had happened just now, but then, I was restrained by his guards.

"Where are you running off to?" One of his werewolves questioned.

"I.. I'm.." I was going to say when I got interrupted.

"Don't think for a moment that you won't be punished just because he let you go," another one of the guards warned me.

"What are we to do with the rebel, Chase?" Harrison inquired , Turning to Alpha Chase.

He hesitated for a second, staring at me before he responded with a cold gaze at me. It seemed like my face had provoked him.

"Take her away!" he commanded, his voice dripping with anger. "Tie her up and leave her out in the rain. Let her think about what she's done."

As the Alpha barked out his orders, my heart sank. I knew I was in trouble, and I braced myself for the punishment he had in store for me.

My eyes widened in shock and fear as I was dragged away by his guards.

"Let me go, please!" I struggled against their grip, trying to plead with them to spare me from this cruel punishment.

But they were unyielding, and soon I found myself tied up and left out in the pouring rain.

I shivered as the cold drops of water soaked through my clothes, and I felt utterly helpless and alone.

As I laid there, I couldn't help but wonder what I had done to deserve such treatment.

"It was just a knife that wouldn't hurt a bird!" I soliloquized as I was under the rain.

Despite my fear and discomfort, I refused to give up hope. I knew that I had to find a way to escape and prove my worth to the Alpha and his pack.

And I was determined to do whatever it took to earn their respect and trust once again so I could get my revenge.

As the rain continued to pound down on me, I felt a seething anger build up inside of me.

I recalled the moment he gave his orders to his pack to tie me up and I couldn't help but grin in disgust.

"How dare he treat me like this? How dare he tie me up and leave me to suffer in the cold rain like some kind of animal?"

My hands clenched into fists as I thought about the Alpha and his cruel actions. I wanted nothing more than to kill him, to show him that I was not to be messed with.

But as much as I wished for revenge, I knew that I was powerless in this situation. I was tied up and alone, and there was nothing I could do to fight back against the Alpha's dominance.

As the hours ticked by, my anger turned into despair.

Was this my fate? To be at the mercy of a cruel Alpha who cared nothing for my well-being?

But even in my darkest moments, I refused to give up. I was determined to find a way to escape and prove myself to the Alpha and his pack. And I knew that when the time came, I would not hesitate to fight back with my strength.

As the rain pelted down on my skin, I struggled against the ropes that bound me to a tree. I had been tied here for hours, left to the mercy of the elements, all because of Alpha Chase. He had left me for dead in the wilderness.

But I wouldn't let him get away with it. Not this time.

As I lay here, helpless and alone, I began to doubt myself. "What could I do against someone as powerful as Alpha Chase? Was I foolish to think I could take him down?" I smirked like I was insane.

That was when I heard the noises on the roofs. At first, I thought it was just the rain, or maybe a stray animal. But as the sounds grew louder, I knew that something was coming.

I strained my eyes, trying to see through the fog, rain and the darkness. And that's when I saw them: a group of shadowy figures, moving swiftly across the rooftops.

"What the fuck?!" I exclaimed in shock.

At first, I was terrified. Who were these people, and why were they here? But then I remembered something my uncle had said to me, before I embarked on my revenge plan.

"If you want to take down Alpha Chase, you need to be smart. You need to gather allies, and strike from the shadows."

'Could it be that my uncle had sent these assassins to help me?' It seemed unlikely, but I couldn't think of any other explanation.

As the figures drew closer, I could see that they were armed with swords and bows. They moved with deadly precision, like a pack of wolves hunting their prey.

I knew that I should be afraid, but instead, I felt a surge of hope.

"With these assassins on my side, I might just have a chance of taking down Alpha Chase." I said excitedly, curling a sneer on my lips.

I watched as they disappeared from view, their movements growing more and more silent as they approached their target. And then, suddenly, I heard a howl.

It was Alpha Chase. I recognized his voice instantly, even though it was muffled by the rain. He was fighting for his life, but it was no use. The assassins were too skilled, too ruthless.

I grinned to myself, feeling a sense of satisfaction that I had never felt before. Alpha Chase had gotten what he deserved, and I had played a part in his downfall.

As the rain continued to pour down, I closed my eyes and listened to the sounds of battle. It was a symphony of violence, and I revelled in it. For the first time in my life, I felt truly alive.

After a few hours, they were still fighting and I was beginning to get bored but more especially pity Alpha Chase again.

I felt he had taken enough slashes from them and needed help.

"Awww Ooohhhh!!" A loud howling cry came from his room which took me into flight.

My body shook with fear and adrenaline as I fought to break free of the ropes that bound me. My mind raced with thoughts of Alpha Chase and the danger he was in. I knew I had to do something to save him.

With a sudden burst of strength, I managed to break free of the ropes, ignoring the pain in my wrists as I stood up.

Without a second thought, I rushed towards Alpha Chase's chamber, my heart pounding with fear and urgency.

As I burst through the door, I was met with a chaotic scene. Alpha Chase laid on the ground in his werewolf form, surrounded by assassins who were intent on taking his life.

And not even his Beta was there to save his ass.

Without hesitation, I sprang into action, my body moving with a grace and speed that I didn't know I possessed. I fought off the assassins with a fierce determination, my every move calculated and precise.

As I battled the assassins, my mind raced with thoughts of Alpha Chase. I couldn't bear the thought of losing him and I wasn't sure why.

I kept having this feeling that if he dies, that would be the end of me.

With each blow I landed, I felt a surge of hope and determination, knowing that I was Fighting to save a pack.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the last of the assassins lay defeated at my feet. The room was filled with a deafening silence, broken only by the sound of Alpha Chase's ragged breathing.

I rushed to his side, my heart breaking at the sight of him lying there, injured and vulnerable. I knew I had to act fast to save him.

With a trembling hand, I reached out to caress his fur, feeling the warmth of his body beneath my fingertips.

As I focused all of my human energy on him, I felt a surge of hope and determination.

I could feel his body responding to my touch, his wounds slowly closing and his breathing becoming steadier. And in that moment, I knew that I had saved him.

Exhausted but relieved, I collapsed onto the ground next to Alpha Chase, my hand still resting on his fur.

We had survived the attack, but I knew that there would be more challenges ahead. But no matter what lay ahead, I was determined to protect him henceforth at all costs.
