Samantha’s Pov

Some days go by quickly, like the changing seasons. Others drag on. The slow days are usually the gloomy ones, the moments you want to pass seem to linger as long as they can. It’s like that when your heart is broken: there’s a strange quietness and an unexplained emptiness you feel.

Hollowness. How can a heart feel hollow? Yet mine has, ever since Luca told me to leave his room. He hasn’t spoken to me, and while I’ve tried to avoid Xavier as much as possible, I’ve also tried to make Luca forgive me. But all my efforts have failed, and I just stopped trying. It’s been four days since then.
