CHAPTER 2

RYLEE'S POV.

“Alpha Malakai, Nash’s uncle.” My eyes widened in shock when I saw the man sitting in a corner of the bar, talking with a young woman and drinking his liquor.

His gaze was fixed on me, making me blush even as his lips moved while he spoke to the woman in front of him.

I frowned when I saw he had company. How could I be reacting this way to a man like Alpha Malakai Preston at a time like this?

Alpha Malakai Preston was a notorious bad-boy Alpha. Rumors said he had slept with many shameless unmated she-wolves in our pack, all of them hoping to become our Luna.

I didn’t know if the rumors were true or not. But you know the saying—in every lie, there’s always a grain of truth.

So if Alpha Malakai hadn’t slept with those women, why did he entertain them?

I looked away from him and kept drinking. I was gradually becoming intoxicated and could barely see my surroundings.

I lived in a small rented apartment with my brother, and I decided to get a gigolo for the night. I couldn’t stay a virgin any longer. I had no wolf and scent. Even if I hooked up with a man tonight, I didn’t mind having his child just so I would have a companion and not feel so alone.

I searched the crowd with my shining blue eyes, looking for any hookup before I became completely wasted. My gaze landed on Alpha Malakai again. He had dismissed the lady who had been with him.

She looked like a hooker—tall, with big breasts and a sexy waist. She wore a red seductive dress that exposed her cleavage, and her fair skin glistened under the dim lights of the club.

I glanced away from her. I didn’t know who she was, and an Omega like me wasn’t supposed to meddle with the socialites or royals of this pack.

I tried to stand and search for a man to hook up with. Instead, my legs carried me straight to Alpha Malakai’s VIP chair.

Damn it. He owned this hotel. What the heck was I doing right in front of him?

Alpha Malakai pulled out a cigarette and lit it. His Beta stopped me just before I could reach the table.

“Who are you? And what do you want here?” Beta Fabian Harvey grasped my hand, before I could get any closer to Alpha Malakai.

I looked at Beta Fabian's face. His younger sister had stolen my man, and here he was asking me nonsense.

I could have hooked up with Beta Fabian—he was a handsome young man, probably in his late twenties. I knew Alpha Malakai was thirty-two.

I gathered all my strength and shoved Beta Fabian’s hand away. I stumbled backward and was caught by firm hands.

I tensed as I landed on Alpha Malakai’s thighs. I felt his body tense beneath mine as his masculine scent of cedarwood enveloped me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.

I pressed my soft lips against his and kissed him tenderly at first.

“Alpha!” Beta Fabian exclaimed, shocked by my audacity.

But Alpha Malakai didn’t recoil or push me away. He put out his cigarette in the ashtray, then lifted me into his arms.

I buried my face in his neck. I was intoxicated, but his masculine scent of cedarwood made me relax in his hold.

I knew I had a death wish for seducing our Alpha’s son. But right then I just wanted any man.

“Take me, Alpha. I want you, please,” I whispered, holding his neck firmly, afraid he might throw me aside. He stayed silent as he carried me away.

Alpha Malakai stepped into an elevator, still holding me in his arms, and took me to the top floor. I didn’t know which floor it was—I was drifting in and out of consciousness.

The next moment I was sitting on a bed. Alpha Malakai finally stepped back from me.

“Please… I want you, please.” I stood up from the bed in a flash and reached for the buttons of my shirt.

“Stop. What are you trying to do?” Alpha Malakai asked at last. His voice came out rough, hot, and filled with arousal. Even without a wolf I could tell he was affected by me. He was a bad-boy Alpha, after all, and he loved sex.

“I want to sleep with you,” I told him with confidence even though I was staggering. I tore open my shirt and exposed my full breasts to his view. He growled and came forward, grasping my neck.

“Do you have a death wish? Do you forget the implications of seducing your Alpha?” His voice was rasped and filled with anger.

“I’m sorry. But I want a man tonight. If you don’t want me, it’s fine. I can get another man to hook up with,” I said. I saw his eyes darken. They glowed blue, and he tossed me onto the bed.

“You asked for it, and you do not dare point fingers at me later. I’ll make you forget the man you thought you mated to,” Alpha Malakai said as he unbuttoned his own shirt.

He came onto the bed toward me. I was suddenly afraid—I had never been with a man before.

But this was Alpha Malakai Preston, the future Alpha of the Dark Hills Pack. He hadn’t ascended the throne yet only because he had no Luna.

“You asked for it, little Omega,” Alpha Malakai growled, removing my bra. He brought his face to my chest, and I sucked in a sharp breath as his lips caught my nipple.

“Ahh!” I cried out at the surge of electricity that shot through me. My heart fluttered so hard it felt ready to explode.

Alpha Malakai didn’t suck gently. He fed on my breasts until I was whimpering on the bed. I had made a mistake. I shouldn’t have chosen him.

I prayed to the Moon Goddess for forgiveness even while I was drunk.

I cried out as Alpha Malakai moved to my other breast and fed hungrily. For goodness’ sake, he wasn’t a baby—why did he suck so hard? Did he want my nipples to produce milk?

I arched my back at the intense pleasure he was giving me.

At one point he reached for my underwear. He was left only in his shorts. Fear of what was coming made me shake my head.

“Let me go!”

“Shut up. What makes you think I’ll let you go now? You woke my beast, and you’ll take all of me.” He took my right hand and placed it on the front of his boxers.

“Strip it off and free it from its cage. No woman has ever made me feel this way,” he confessed.

I couldn’t see his body clearly, but the moment I pulled down his shorts and obeyed the Alpha command, I was shocked by what I saw. A massive díck. I hastily tried to shift away from him.

“No—let me go. I haven’t done this before. I’ll get another man—” I spluttered, but Alpha Malakai’s gaze darkened as he used his Alpha command again.

“Lie on the bed with your legs apart and take off everything you’re wearing.”

I was stunned, drunk, and unable to disobey my Alpha. He reached for me and settled above me.
