Chapter 3

*Rylee's POV*

As I woke up the next morning, I found myself lying on a white bed. I hastily sat up and tried to remember what happened the previous night. I was moping, and then Elizabeth called me and asked if I had found out about Nash's betrayal. He had gotten engaged to our Beta's daughter, Bella. Tears welled up in my eyes as the memory came flooding back. But when I looked around the room, I wondered what I was doing here.

As I wanted to get out of the bed, I felt a sharp pain in between my legs, and I got scared that someone had used me in my broken state. "Oh no! Who used me?" I cried, as I had no memories of the man I had slept with last night.

I searched the room for my phone to see where it was. It was on the drawer, and I quickly reached to pick it up, but I saw that it was placed on top of a white note.

"Thanks for last night. And here's a check for 10 million as your compensation for the wonderful sex," the person had written.

"Damn it. Who is this person? How can I not remember him?" I was enraged that I had lost my virginity to a total stranger and had no memory of him. The man must be a rich escort, or how else did he write this check? Is this check real or fake? I asked myself as I took a second look at the check for ten million.

"Well, I will have to go to the pack's bank to find out," I said to myself as I took the check and placed it into my skirt. I saw that my shirt had been ruined, with a few buttons missing, and I decided to get another shirt, since I was working in this pack's hotel.

I placed a call to Elizabeth Brown to apologize for the previous day's event, as I knew that it wasn't her fault. She had a mate, while I didn't have one. I was never jealous of her, but because of my brokenness, I had hurt her feelings.

"Hello, Elizabeth," I answered her call. "I'm sorry about what happened last night."

"It's okay, Rylee. You don't have to beg me. Where are you?" Elizabeth asked, knowing that I didn't return to my home.

"I'm at somewhere special. I mean, it seems like I got hooked up last night, but I can't remember who it was," I said, over the phone call as I rubbed my temples.

"Oh my goodness! Rylee, how can you lose yourself like that? This is serious. Anyway, I'm coming over to pick you up. Can you forward the hotel address to me? Or is it the pack's hotel? Did you have the money to pay for the night you spent, or did the person already pay it?" Elizabeth inquired.

I gazed at the check in my hand and thought against telling her. What if it's fake?

"I don't know, but I still have some money left in my bag. I'm not that broke," I said, recalling how I had foolishly supported Nash out of my love for him.

"It's okay, Rylee. I'll be at the pack's hotel soon. Wait for me," Elizabeth hung up the call, and I sighed and got out of the bed. I moved over to the mirror to look at myself and saw that I had scratch marks all over my body. I tried to think deeply about the man I had met at the club. Who was he? Did he use any protection on me? Oh no! I need to get a contraceptive pill. What if he's a rogue?

My head ached as I tried to recall who it was that I had slept with. I looked at my neck, recalling the person had the audacity to mark me. I then massaged the sore wound on my neck. "Why can't I remember him?" Sighing, I went into the bathroom to bathe. As I got out, I remembered that I didn't have any top to wear, as the person had torn my shirt and bra.

"Hey, Elizabeth. Can you stop by any store and help me get a shirt and bra? Or can you lend me yours?" I asked my friend, as it was a Saturday morning. "Alright. I'm almost leaving the house now. I'll get you my top and bra. Wait a minute, what happened to yours? Did someone steal them?" She asked.

"No. It's ruined and torn to shreds."

"Oh my goodness!" Elizabeth gasped and said, "Alright. I'll get it for you. Hold up." The call disconnected, and I waited for my best friend to arrive. However, a knock on the hotel room door startled me, and I moved over to the door to find out who it was. I wrapped a white towel around my chest, as there were free towels in the bathroom of this hotel.

As I pulled the door open, I was shocked to see two women who looked like maids, and they held several collections of dresses, pants, and bras on hangers.

"Hello, how can I help you both?" I asked them, and they looked at me in surprise but shook their heads. "Are you the woman who spent the night in this room last night?" the first lady asked me. She was a little older than me and didn't look happy to see that she had to come here and serve me.

"Yes, I am the one. What's the problem?" I asked them, and the second lady's phone rang. "Excuse me. Hello, boss, it's the poor Omega in the room you asked us to deliver those dresses to."

"Shut up, you idiot, and do your job, unless you want Beta Fabian to kill you!" Their boss yelled at the second woman, and she begged, "Forgive me, boss. We will do just that."

"Then get to it and ensure that she picks something nice to wear." The call ended, and the second lady bit her lower lip and looked at me with her yellow eyes.

"Well, we don't know what's going on, but our boss insisted that we deliver all these dresses to you to pick any one that you like and wear it, since you're the woman who spent the night in this room," she said forcibly, as she didn't seem happy to serve me.

"Can we come in and keep the dresses? You don't have to keep us waiting," the first lady chimed in, and I welcomed them into the hotel room. "Wait, this is a VIP suite. How did I get here last night, and who sent these dresses? I hope it's not Beta Fabian that spent the night with me. I'm going to kill him!" I growled, as I glared at the two women. They laughed and went to keep the dresses on the bed.

"You should count yourself lucky if a handsome man like Beta Fabian had the guts to spend his night with you. You ugly moron," the first lady barked at me, and I glared at her. "If you insult me, I'm going to report you, and you will lose your job," I threatened them, and they rolled their eyes at me.

"Whatever. Our boss only asked us to deliver all these to you. So, we're out of here." The two ladies walked away, as they were Delta wolves, and they didn't seem happy to serve me. As it was mostly the Omegas who were to work as servants in this pack. However I shook my head and wondered, "Who sent all these?"
