Chapter 26
Alex POV
I didn’t know what to do, I was frozen in my spot, as much as I wanted to move I couldn’t. Before me, was my mate, bleeding out on the floor. I felt tears streaming down my face. I finally understood why I was so drawn to Evie, I knew she wasn’t my mate, but she brought me comfort.
“ALEX!” Evie shouted. “Come here and help me.” I could finally move and walked over to Evie and sat down beside her. I wanted to reach for Lily’s hand but didn’t want to scare her at the same time. “Lily, this is my friend Alex, he’s going to help you, okay?” Lily nodded her head. “Alex come her and grab her hand.”
“Hi Lily, it’s nice to meet you.” I gave her a weak smile. “Well, I hoped it would be under circumstances.” Lily snickered.
“It’s.. okay., it.. doesn’t.. hurt., that… much.” Lily spoke, and it was literally music to my ears.
“Alex pick her up, we mind linked Josh, and he will be here in a few minutes with the car, the doctor is already waiting.”

I was at the store, buying some late-night snacks for Kristin and I, who was still at our dorm. Alex POVWhen I was listening to Evie's story, I got so angry, she didn’t even know what was happening. How could someone do this to their mate. I wish Evie were my mate. Evie’s POV Okay that just happened, after fleeing one wolf I found another one apparently. Well, that sucks. Anyway, when Alex left, I did what he asked. I went inside mine and Kristin's dorm. I remember how hard it was to get this dorm together. We specifically told the dorm manager that we wanted to have a dorm together. He told us that it would be no problem, but still we ended up not having one together. Apparently, he confused us with to other friends Maya and Daimy. I ended up having a dorm with Maya, while Kristin was paired with Daimy. When we found out we immediately switched, but we ended up being good friends with them and we sometimes go out with them too. When Kristin and I finally got our dorm we all went to the home store and bought all our stuff together. The dorm was already furnished with a big grey couch, 2 small black metal coffee tables with a wooden tabletop, a small TV and cabinet around and under it, wooden dinner table and chairs.

Kristin went to school this morning, she had a later class than I did, at 10, I think. So, when she woke up, she turned on the music to listen to some pop music. Which was not a nice way to wake up, even if it was the second time.
