Chapter 9
I woke from the sound of my alarm, I looked over to my alarm clock and saw it was 6.30 am. "Jeez I hate morning classes." now don't get me wrong I love mornings, well at least when it's not cold outside. It's the beginning of fall and now I have to wake up when it's still dark outside and it is really getting cold.
I got out of bed about 10 minutes later, after an internal battle deciding if school really was more important that a good night sleep. I went to the bathroom put my towel on the heater, striped my pj's and got into the shower. After washing and conditioning my hair and washing my body I got out of the shower. Luckily because of the heater, it wasn't too cold, and my towel was nice and warm. Once I dried myself, I put on a matching set of a navy bra and panties and stood in front of the mirror. "Damn I look like shit". I had bags under my eyes and just looked tired. To be honest I haven't been sleeping well. "Well just suck it up, I have to go to school".

Ashton pov "So how do you feel?" I asked Josh as we walked down the road. We left the club and decided to continue our original plan and go find something to eat. There was a burger restaurant a few blocks away, and I could use a bloody burger. Not literally bloody, but almost. Medium rare it is. "I'm good, happy. Did you see how beautiful she was" Josh replied. "You look like a lovesick puppy dude." I laughed at the way he was looking. "Shut up." "Kind of cliche don't you think? I nodded, I have to give it to him, it is a better way to treat your mate when you find her. I know I was stupid; I didn't want her to get hurt, but by the way I acted she got hurt in the process. I just woke up from the best sleep ever, I was warm and comfortable. When I opened my eyes and saw Ashton asleep next to me. I looked around me and realized I was still in the hospital. My last 3 days of normal. That was all I was thinking as I was laying at home, resting, and waiting for Kristin to get home. Who was currently, well you can take a guess, yup at Joshes place. Ashton stormed into the room; we were just talking about what to do to become a pack doctor. When Ashton went to the bathroom, I decided to look around the cabin. It was not that small and cozy, it had two stories, ground floor and first floor. On the ground floor there was obviously the living room, with the couch. The couch was in front of a fireplace, which was made out of natural grey bluff stones and looked really nice. I walked over to the kitchen, which was next to the living room. The kitchen was pretty spacious, there was a cooking island with a stove and oven and of course a fridge and cabinets. There was also a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor, which I guess was for Ashton and me, at least for the next few days.
