Chapter 52
Wyatt was gone by the time I was done getting changed for training, and Xander was standing by the door waiting on me, but I felt a pang of guilt when I looked at his face. ALARIC'S POV CON'T I mind-linked my mom to bring up multiple bags of ice, as well as some kind of juice or fruit in case I could get her to eat something later. She was screaming as loud as she could for my brothers, and her voice was slowly breaking my heart. She was in so much pain and all she wanted was them. I wanted her to want me like that, to need me. As soon as our noses touched, he crashed his lips into me. I was thankful that he was pushing me against the counter because my legs became so weak that I wouldn’t have been able to stand on my own.
