ALARIC'S POV CON'T
“Can I ask you something?” Her voice was soft as she bit her bottom lip.
“If I can ask you one,” I smirked at her, and she nodded again.
“What about the betrothal?” Her timid voice asked and I knew this question was coming. I smiled and kissed her forehead, never surer of my answer than in this moment.
