"This is why we should have done this the first day," Alaric was annoyed, but not really at me, "sit," he pointed at the bed and I listened as I tried to shut out his scent. He stayed across the room from me so I wouldn’t get distracted, "Close your eyes and picture the door you shut everyone inside of, turn the handle slowly and open the doors as you picture an empty room and the doors disappearing. You are the Luna, anyone you want in this room, will come, and anyone you don't, will stay out. Open your eyes." I was listening and following his every direction, the sound of his voice leading me to an empty space before I opened my eyes.
