Ben’s men scattered in shock, but I didn’t wait. My claws ripped through the first two before they even turned to fight.
One tried to swing his blade. I ducked and drove my elbow into his ribs, hearing the sickening crack. Another aimed a gun. I kicked it out of his hand and slammed him to the ground.
The battle exploded behind me.
Howls filled the air as my pack surged forward. I saw Keto charging with Mako beside him, their forms shifting mid-run. Kate fired shots from her angle.
Kira let out a scream and shifted, running straight into a wall of enemies with her fangs bared.
