Riven – POV

The moment I stepped inside the damn house, her scent slammed into me like a freight train.

Sweet. Soft. Hers.

It curled in my nose, punched me right in the chest, and my wolf went still.

She was here.

I took another step—slow, controlled.

And that's when I saw her.

Peeking from behind the kitchen door like a scared little rabbit. One glance at us, and she bolted.

Straight for Kael.

Before I could even blink, she slammed face-first into his chest.

Hard.

She froze on impact, hands gripping his shirt like a lifeline. Her body shook, her scent went sharp with fear, and everything in me locked up.

Kael didn't move. Just held her.

Damian smiled.

"It's okay," Kael said softly. "I'm sure you remember his grumpy face. He won't hurt you."

I rolled my damn eyes. "Grumpy face? Really?"

She peeked out from behind Kael's shirt like a shy pup. Big eyes.

Cute... and heartbreaking.

So yeah, she remembered me. Or at least recognized I wasn't a threat.

Didn't mean she tru

  • Mated to four   Chapter 44

Kael – POV The air was colder than usual. Not the weather—just the feeling. Heavy. Weighted. Like the whole damn world knew what we were about to do. We split at dawn. Riven and his team were already headed toward the north border, their silhouettes swallowed by the mist. He was ready—same as us. Ready to bleed for this. Ready to kill for this. Lucas and I stood at the edge of the east ridge, eyes fixed on the distant treeline that marked Trinity’s territory. The wind dragged across my face, sharp enough to sting. Lucas was silent beside me, gripping the straps of his pack tight enough I could hear the seams strain. His jaw was locked, the tendons in his neck standing out like stone. “We do this clean,” I muttered. “No mistakes. No hesitation.” Lucas nodded once. “And no leaving without her.” My chest tightened. Lira. She was back at the pack house, dressed in a new identity, traveling with Damian like just another alpha’s omega. Calm on the outside, fire underneath. We just

  • Mated to four   Chapter 43

Lucas – POV Watching her with Riven did something to me. Not in the way I expected—not just anger or protectiveness. It scared the hell out of me. Because she was still healing. Still fragile in ways none of us fully understood, even if she didn’t want us to see it. But damn… I was proud too. She didn’t back down. Not once. Even when Riven threw her harder than I thought necessary, she just got up. Over and over. Sweat dripping into her eyes, breath coming in harsh bursts, shoulders trembling—but she never quit. It wasn’t just stubbornness. It was survival, wrapped in something sharper. Clearly, I’d missed more than a few things while I was gone. But I was here now. And I’d be damned if I didn’t make every second count. She was ours. Not just mine, not just theirs—ours. And I needed her to know me—to trust me. Not because fate said so. But because I’d earn it, piece by piece. I caught Damian and Kael beside me, both locked in, eyes never leaving her. Kael’s wolf was rest

  • Mated to four   Chapter 42

Riven – POV She had guts. I’ll give her that. But I had no damn clue what she expected when she pointed at me like I was her golden ticket. Me? Of all people? I don’t coddle. I don’t sugarcoat. And I sure as hell don’t go easy—mate or not. “I won’t go easy on you just because you’re my mate,” I said, flat and cold. Her eyes didn’t waver. Hell, they lit up. Like my words were fuel instead of a warning. She scoffed—low and sharp—and then— She moved. Dropped her weight, shifted her feet, arms up in something that vaguely resembled a stance. Sloppy. But still a stance. I tilted my head. “Where’d you learn that?” I asked, more curious than mocking. She didn’t answer. Just clenched her fists tighter, like she was daring me to give her an opening. My wolf stirred, alert. She wasn’t trained—but damn, she had fight in her. And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t impressed. She came at me again, fists raised, clumsy but determined. I side-stepped easily, watching as she caught hers

  • Mated to four   Chapter 41

Damian – POV The second we stepped into the training yard, all movement stopped. Warriors froze mid-swing, mid-step—hell, mid-breath—as their eyes snapped to us. To her. I didn't waste time. "Eyes front," I barked. "Continue your drills. Now." Weapons clashed again. Feet hit the dirt. But I could still feel their curiosity burning against our backs. I turned toward the smallest figure in our group. "Now, sweetheart," I said, softening my tone for her, "one of us is going to train you. Your choice." Before the words even settled in the air, Riven took one step to the side and held up both hands. "Keep me out of this." But before she could second guess herself—before any of us could process it—she pointed at him. Riven. Everyone tensed. Even Kael's jaw ticked. But Riven? The asshole smirked. "You sure about that, cupcake?" he asked, cocking his head. "Because I'm not gonna go easy on you just because you're my mate or because you've had a shitty past." She didn't flinch.

  • Mated to four   Chapter 40

Lucas pov had barely stepped through the damn front door before I was being dragged straight to Damian's office. Kael opened the door like his ass was on fire, and there they all were—Riven leaning against the wall with his usual scowl, Damian behind his desk already half pissed off about something. "What the hell did I walk into?" I asked, shutting the door behind me. Nobody answered. Great. "I swear," I muttered, "if this is another one of Riven's mood swings—" That's when I heard it. The softest footsteps outside the office door. Then it creaked open. And she walked in. Lira. Our omega. The room went quiet. My damn heart stopped. She looked smaller than I remembered, but there was something different in her eyes. Something fierce. I stepped forward before I even realized I was moving. "What's going on?" Damian didn't miss a beat. "We're heading to the training yard." I blinked. "Training?" He stood, grabbed a file off his desk, and walked past me

  • Mated to four   Chapter 39

Damian – POV I leaned back, arms crossed, watching her like I was seeing her for the first damn time. Our little omega—standing there like she hadn't just spent her life being broken. Like she wasn't terrified out of her mind. Like she belonged in this room, in this fight. "I'll fight," she'd said. And fuck me... she meant it. There was fire in her voice. A steady rise in her spine. That stubborn glint in her eyes like she was daring anyone to doubt her. I couldn't stop the smirk. That was strength. That was survival. That was our omega stepping out of the dark and planting her feet in the light. And I've never been more fucking proud. "Well, you heard her," I said, shooting Riven a side-eye smirk. He didn't even bother looking at me—just let out a grunt and rolled his eyes like the grumpy bastard he is. But he didn't argue. Didn't push back. Because deep down, he was just as proud as I was. Even if his ego would rather choke on a pinecone than admit it. "Well, swee
