Sylvia’s POV

The milk dripped down my face, cold and sticky against my skin.

I stood there, frozen for a moment, as rage built inside me like a gathering storm.

This woman – this snake who had slithered into my life and poisoned everything I held dear – stood before me with that smug smile, wearing my clothes.

I wiped the milk from my eyes, my hands trembling with fury. There, draped across her shoulders, was my favorite blue cashmere sweater – the one Raven had given me on our first anniversary.

The sight of it on her body made my blood boil. But it wasn't just the sweater.

As I looked closer, I recognized more of my belongings: my silver bracelet, the designer jeans I'd saved up for months to buy, and even the delicate pearl earrings that had belonged to my mother.

"That is my clothing," I said, my eyes fixed on her, my voice dangerously calm. Each word felt as if it had been carved from ice. "You are wearing my clothes."
