The last few days had been stressful, to say the least. The rogue wolves in the area had elected to renew their sporadic attacks, though there were no signs of the other menaces who endangered our future, thankfully.
I had been in contact with Jace recently, and he confirmed he had been coordinating with Ryker to fend off a few minor spats that had occurred with the rogue wolves all over the Eastern Province, as well.
All the same, I couldn’t stop thinking about the timing of everything, and my brain returned to pondering the situation with the rogues once more as I moved around the training grounds, monitoring the males who were sparring in human form today.
I had never slacked in my job of keeping my warriors in shape and quick on their feet, so my males didn’t require much correction. Even so, I kept my keen eyes open, paying attention to their skillsets and tucking the information away for later.

Scarlett I was rushing outside in a flash to confirm Reese’s unbelievable report, but there was no denying my meek, blonde-haired friend was sitting astride a massive, gleaming dragon with her mate, Asher.
