- Clary's POV -

I have never thought deeply about what comes after this life. I don’t know if there is a God, a Goddess, or some higher power watching everything we do. I don’t know if there’s a next life waiting. But if reincarnation exists, if we truly return again and again, then I wish it would be a life that rewards those who lived decent and righteous lives. A life that treats people fairly.

But maybe that was too much to hope for. Maybe in my past life, I was a monster. Maybe I was the black sheep, the sinner who betrayed everyone. Maybe that is why I was punished and reborn into this life... a life filled with pain, rejection, and misery.

None of it made sense. None of my thoughts could answer why I was forced into this world where I was always treated like trash. All I ever wished for was to live a life worth something, even if it wasn’t special. I didn’t dream of power. I didn’t dream of being strong. I only wanted to be accepted, to be seen, to not be treated as worthless.

  • Mated to the Forbidden   Take Your Life

Just when I was about to see her face in that strange dream, I was startled awake by a loud banging noise outside. My eyes flew open, my heart pounding, and the first thing I saw was Andrea marching toward me. Her steps were sharp, heavy, and full of rage. I could feel the storm she was about to unleash, and it was aimed directly at me.I pushed myself up from the bed. My body was healing faster than before. The pain was still there, but compared to yesterday, I could move without my muscles screaming. The wounds that had nearly torn me apart were closing faster than what I thought was possible.Andrea didn’t care about that. She stormed closer and grabbed my right arm without hesitation. Her fingers dug into my skin, her nails almost piercing me. Her grip was so tight I could already see the skin beneath her fingers turning purple. She yanked my arm up, glaring at the fading wounds from the duel two days ago. Her jaw clenched, and her eyes burned with disgust.“It wasn’t even deep!” s

  • Mated to the Forbidden   Who Are You

    - Clary's POV -I woke up in my bed, staring at the ceiling blankly. On a normal day, I would have questioned how I ended up here. But I had no motivation to care, no curiosity left in me. All I felt was pain. Every inch of my body ached. My arms felt heavy and sore, as if iron chains were tied to them. My abdomen burned every time I tried to move, and the wound at my back throbbed, refusing to let me lie flat. The dagger wound was still fresh in my memory. The feeling of its sharpness tearing into me replayed again and again in my mind. I tried to shift and hissed at the pain. My lips trembled as I looked at the bandages covering me.Some of the wounds had stitches. If not for those sutures, I would have bled out. Whoever treated me did a thorough job, but the strange part was how fast my body was recovering. Yesterday, the wounds were deep, nearly unbearable. Now they were smaller, the edges closing, almost healing.I pulled the blanket down, staring at my legs. I remembered the sha

  • Mated to the Forbidden   Losing Battle

‘Clary!’‘Clary!’'Clary!’I snapped out of my senses after multiple desperate attempts of Cordia to call me. My vision cleared, and I found myself trembling in Darren’s arms. His strong frame shielded me from the chaos of the crowd, and his warmth was the only thing keeping me from collapsing on the cold concrete floor of the stadium. He was literally hugging me, his arms tight around me as though afraid I might vanish.“What happened? You’ve been trembling.” His voice was full of tenderness, but also fear.I tried to speak, but my lips quivered. My whole body wouldn’t stop shaking. The rage of my mother’s voice still echoed in my skull. Her fury had pierced straight through me. At that moment, I wanted nothing more than to collapse, to run far away from this kingdom, to disappear where no one could ever find me.My mother would never forgive me after this. I just looked at Alpha, and yet she reacted as if I had committed the worst crime against her. What have I done to make her so a

  • Mated to the Forbidden   The First Battle

    - Clary's POV - The selection had begun, and I bit my lip as my eyes focused on the center of the stadium. The announcer stood tall, his voice echoing across the entire place. A black tattoo ran across his left arm, proof that he was a servant of the leaders. Every leader bore a unique mark, and those who served them carried symbols of their loyalty.“For the first battle, Darren Cyprus and Kyle Wixx!”I exhaled in relief. My name wasn’t called. Not yet. My heart pounded so hard in my chest, I thought it would betray my fear. Losing on the first round would be humiliating. It would shame not only me but the name of my family.‘You can beat them with your mind, Clary. Stop being so pessimistic,’ Cordia whispered inside my head.‘I’m weak, Cordia. You know that. Mind alone isn’t enough against them.’I was the smartest girl in the kingdom, but what was intelligence compared to raw strength? To skill? In this place, strength decided survival. Strength decided worth.Darren caught my gaze

  • Mated to the Forbidden   Forbidden Mate

'Mate!' Cordia exclaimed, her voice echoing inside me, making my world explode in light.'Cordia!' I gasped. ‘Where the hell have you been? I’ve been searching for you, I thought I lost you.’Her whimper reached me, weak and guilty, but my eyes… my eyes couldn’t move away from him. From my mate. I knew he was my mate.‘I’m so sorry, Clary,’ Cordia whispered, trembling. ‘I don’t know what happened. The last thing I remember was falling asleep… how long have I been gone?’I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. My eyes were locked on him. On the Alpha. Why did the Goddess choose him for me? Why him? Was he truly mine or was I just stealing what belonged to Andrea? No… I could feel the pull. The heat in my veins. The bond wrapping me like chains. The pull that was screaming at me to claim him. To own him.‘It’s been a month, Cordia,’ I answered, my voice hollow.‘What!? You’re joking!’ she cried, shocked.‘Tch. So all it takes is him for you to finally wake up from your haven,’ I muttered, b
