Lyrien’s POV

The apartment fell silent after Sasha left. I stood frozen in the middle of my bedroom, unable to move.

Why couldn’t he be straightforward and tell me that Dimitri was with another woman? Instead, he had to be all cryptic and tell me to watch the news.

Does that mean… Is it worse than I think?

His last words echoed inside my head. Watch the news. You'll understand where Dimitri has been.

  • Bought To Be His Breeder   Chapter 51: My Wolf Will Die.

Dimitri’s POVMy body felt like it was on fire. I had gotten used to the pain, but the moment I heard Noah yelling and screaming that I didn’t want him anymore…My wolf howled in pain, and that was the last thing I remembered.Even though my eyelids were heavy, I forced them open. For a few seconds, I didn't know where I was.My body felt heavy. My chest hurt with every breath, and there was a dull ache spreading from the vampire mark beneath my collarbone through the rest of my body.I slowly turned my head to see Alessandro sitting beside my bed, watching me.The moment our eyes met, I tried to speak, but nothing came out. My throat was so dry it felt like sandpaper."Don't force yourself." Alessandro immediately reached for the glass of water sitting on the bedside table and held it out to me.I pushed myself up slightly, ignoring the protest from my muscles, and took the glass from him.

Lyrien’s POVTap. Tap. Tap. I couldn't stop my foot from tapping against the floor, but I finally forced myself to stop before I drove myself insane.“Lyrien.”I looked at Alessandro. He was sitting beside me, watching me with an amused but concerned expression. His hand rested gently on my thigh, his thumb brushing back and forth in a soothing motion.“Take a breath.”I inhaled slowly, and then exhaled, but it didn’t help much.“What… if he hates me? What if he doesn’t want to do anything to do with me?”Alessandro's expression softened. “He won't. It might take him a while to be comfortable with you, but we’re wolves, Lyrien. He will recognize your scent immediately.”“Will he?” I looked down at my hands. “What if he asks me where I've been? What if he asks

  • Bought To Be His Breeder   Chapter 49: Noah Is Coming Back To Me.

Lyrien’s POVDimitri looked terrible. Now I could understand what Afra meant that day when she asked me if she was okay.He looked like he had lost some weight, and the fact that he keeps coming to the café only makes me notice those details even more.I almost rolled my eyes at myself. After everything that man had done to me, I was still worrying about him. Still, that didn’t mean I would talk to him.I kept my attention on the customers in front of me, taking orders, preparing drinks, and pretending Dimitri Romanov wasn't sitting only a few tables away.Unfortunately, he wasn't making it easy.“Excuse me.” I looked up.Dimitri stood in front of the counter.“What can I get you?”His eyes lingered on mine for a second before he glanced at the menu. “Another coffee.”I stared at him. “You already had two.”Werewolves

Dimitri’s POVI was sitting on the carpet with Noah when there was a knock on the door.“Daddy, look!” Noah held up two dinosaurs and made them crash into each other. “This one is going to win!”I laughed softly. “You sure about that, champ?”“Of course!”Before I could answer, the door opened, and Sasha stepped inside. His expression immediately told me something was wrong. “Dimitri, your father is here.”My smile disappeared. “My father?”Sasha nodded. “He's downstairs.”I sighed and looked at Noah, who was completely absorbed in his dinosaurs. “Can you stay with Noah? I’ll go talk to him.”“You don’t want me to come with you?”I shook my head. “No. Stay with Noah, make sure he doesn’t come down.”Sasha glanced at me, clearly concerned. Aft

  • Bought To Be His Breeder   Chapter 47: You’re My Father?

Lyrien’s POVI nearly dropped the cup in my hand.“Careful,” Afra called from the other side of the counter.“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m fine,” I apologized as I tried to focus once more.Yesterday… I had tried to forget about Dimitri by being with Alessandro, but after the kiss I had to push him away,My wolf kept snarling like crazy, and the sensation was just making my skin crawl. Was that how it would always be? My body aching for a man I had already rejected?Afra gave me a skeptical look but didn't argue. I finished preparing the coffee and placed it on the counter.“Here you go. One americano.”“Thank you.” I looked up because the man standing in front of me didn’t leave the moment I gave him his order.I immediately noticed he wasn’t a regular customer. He looked to be in his late forties or ea

  • Bought To Be His Breeder   Chapter 46: Dimitri Found Me.

Lyriens’ POVWhat the hell? What is he doing here?! How did he find me so soon?!The moment I saw Dimitri enter the coffee shop, my legs nearly gave out. Thankfully, Afra let me come upstairs to the second floor.I started pacing.Back and forth.Back and forth. My hands were shaking so badly that I had to clasp them together.“What are you doing? He is our mate!” My wolf snarled, making herself completely present after five freaking years. “Go back there!” “NO!” I screamed inside my head. “I don’t want to see him.” “But he brought Noah, that kid… it was our son!” She argued, as if that would make me change my mind. She doesn’t understand that Dimitri must be here to make me pay. I rejected him, I left and told nobody
