Kieran’s pov

I went to hug sirella as we stayed in that position for a long time.

I didn’t want to let her go. She was important to me and I had almost lost her.

She looked at me and nuzzled her head into my neck as we both looked at our child. That was when it hit me that this was the first time we were all together.

I felt a proud feeling raise within me. I knew this wasn’t over. I still had to deal with Salvatore and his wants and needs. He was pissed now that I had had relations with his daughter. I could already feel his words to me in the back of my mind.

“Let’s go to the guest room,” the guard said to me as I nodded and followed him while I held sirella.

I could see she had a certain glow… it made everything alright. I got to the room and entered with her as I closed the door behind us and sat on the edge of the bed beside them and put my arms around both mother and child. She didn’t draw away. She huddled closer.
