Readers, you are so amazing! Enjoy!
Sianna's POV It’s been four weeks since I last saw Curtis. He went to the Crimson Hyde Pack to spend time with his mate. It was conclusive to me that he wouldn't reject her. I knew it, but he had to grip that knowledge on his own. He ought to make an effort to start over with her. I was relieved that he’s moved on. My primary concern was that I did not want him in pain any further from having to witness me and Vance progressing in our own relationship. I knew it had to hurt. It killed me to hurt him. Curtis, had to understand that he was already sunken into his own mate bond, that he was not willing to let go. I am not one to stay in noxious situations. I have fallen deeper for Vance and now only a kindred type of love existed for Curtis. I am fully moved in and I did minor changes to his place to add a feminine touch. He claimed he liked and appreciate it. I am on summer break and I spent more time at the pack house learning the ropes from Vance’s mom. She’s sweet and patient wit
Vance's POV I paced the hospital floor impatiently. Dr. Stone was aghast to see us bringing her fainted daughter instead of an injured male warrior. Duke rushed over and was trying to talk me into being calm, while Blayne investigated the incident at the training grounds. Flustered and unraveled, I walked back and forth waiting for Dr. Stone to get back to me. “What the fuck is taking them so long?” “Vance, it’s her daughter so I am sure that Dr. Stone is doing all that she can to take care of Sianna,” The remarks of Duke had little impact. Although my wolf and I were aware of this, it was very difficult for us to remain still because we were so eager to see her. There was still some confusion as to how the warrior miraculously healed from a punctured heart from a silver weapon. Silver injuries took time to heal, could be days or weeks depending on the depth of the wound. I left that in Blayne’s capable hands to deduce. Growls and sighs escaped me unconsciously as it felt like for
Sianna's POV I slept peacefully and wished that I could stay like this, in my alpha’s arms and away from everybody. I peeked in the kitchen to watch him around the stove frying up those slices of bacon that I love so much. He went to the fridge and took out apples and bananas. He peeled and sliced them up. He walked with his sexy ass to the table to place a jug of milk and the fruits in the middle. “Breakfast is ready, or would you rather keep watching your handsome mate being a kitchen guru?” Giggling at the comment, I hugged him from behind and pressed my body against him so that my hardened nipples teased his back through the thin shirt. “I must feed you before we play, my love.” With a suave smirk, he took my hand and led me to sit in the chair opposite him. “Your mom will be stopping by.” “Okay, did she tell you about the results?” “Yes, but she will tell us more when she gets here.” His gleeful smile tried to lessen my fears. I analyzed that his mood was good so perhaps th
VANCE’S POV “I know that this can’t be good,” I said to Miriam, closing the door of my home office. She sat in one of my chairs in the corner of the room. I stood facing her. “I don’t foresee any dangers for Sianna or your baby but…….there is trouble brewing for you.” I folded my arms as she went into details. “Someone wants to wage a war for the rouge you have in your custody.” “Who?” “I see a woman coming with her pack.” Miriam sighed “Visions aren’t clear sometimes but be prepared for anything or are you aware of any troubles afoot.” “There is only Hank, the rogue chief and we have him in our custody. His minions are being hunted for days now.” Miriam had assisted with the witch who helped the rogues unlock my vault in the bunker. She took away her powers and rendered her without any magic. She was another forced victim but we found out that Hank killed her mother after she disobeyed him as a warning. Her father was kept as leverage and that was why she gave in. Miriam tapp
SIANNA’S POV In Vance’s room at the Packhouse, I was getting ready for the ceremony. Usually Alpha’s and their Beta and Gamma lived at the pack house. This is the housing for visitors like other Alphas and guests. But Vance hated too much interference so he built his house ten minutes from here to have privacy. I liked it too because it kept us away from the hustling drama that arose when living with others. All members of the pack had access to the pack house and there were bedrooms to accommodate them. It was like a five-story hotel. Vance loved a lavish lifestyle and this was his way of sharing that with his pack. Vance’s room on the fifth floor was vast and had a small kitchenette, two walk-in closets, and a spacious elegant bathroom inclusive of a hot tub. Duke occupied the fourth floor with his mate, Keisha and together they oversee the operations of the pack house. Blayne would naturally occupy the third floor but he lived in an apartment away from here to facilitate his wil
**SIANNA'S POV** “Rogue Attack!” “Rogues at the border!” Alertness spiked through my body. Vance looked to his left to look at me. ‘Take the women and children to the bunker. Don’t come out until we gave the all-clear.’ Vance mind-linked me and sprang off. The women and children were heading behind the pack house towards the underground bunker for safety. Everyone shifted back to their human form. I went in position and guided them inside while being at the doorway. Mom, Hailey, and Rionna helped. All the male adults had to help the fight while the women and children were hidden in the bunker as the battle was going on. The aim is always to keep the war from the pack house so that no one gains unauthorized access. We attended to the infants to calm them. Some had taken to the beds while others sat in chairs. Five Elite plus ten regular warriors were assigned to guard the bunker, fully armed. I went to get some blankets and shirts to give out when a hand touched mine. “Curtis!” T
*****VANCE'S POV***** “Alpha, I spot 50 wolves coming our way.”An elite reported. “Get the warriors and elites in position. We will meet them in the pavilions and battle there. Remember to take a few hostages. Allow only five to live so that we can follow them back to their hideout. Kill the rest.” I commanded through our werewolf’s telepathic connection. Miriam had implemented the protective shield around the pack territory after broadcasting that Hank would be executed in two days. I knew that would force his associates to act quickly. I also created holes in our patrol system to attract them into seeing opportunities to attack. We waited for them to make the first move and made it seem that we were laid back. The Luna ceremony was the event that I gambled on, but I am grateful for its success. The rogues came after its conclusion, but not in the way that I had expected. Each elite had a team of warriors positioned at different layers as a counter-attack measure. Blayne, Duke, a
***VANCE'S POV*** Blayne returned to the pack by midday. He stormed into my office, ranting and raging. He told Cleopatra to stay at the border, and a tent was prepared for her and her two ambassadors, along with food. After two days, another thirty of her rogues were permitted to arrive but camp outside the borders at the same spot. There was a stream nearby for them to bathe in. I sat in my executive chair scanning through the documents that she gave to Blayne to present to me. It was well written and the arrangement was right. Her references to old pack laws were strongly emphasized in her petition. “Untamable, wild, and stubborn as hell!” Blayne paced back and forth growling and grumbling like a madman. “Rrrrrr!” Duke was doing his rounds with Sianna. She made a list of to-dos where Duke would be her henchman for a few days. We got home last night from our blissful honeymoon. The memories were keeping me through my hectic day. Until, I had to be stuck with a grumpy werewolf who
