Sam pov

The day after the Lily and Grant mess I head to Lily's room and knock lightly she answers and I could tell right away she was crying and miserable.

"hey Lily you want to go eat with me today?",I smile even though I want to cry she looks even more miserable today. Her soft smile makes her look cute.

"are you sure? I thought you would be with Michael",She looked nervous.

"no he went to speak with alpha about a job",I lied I just wanted to spend time with her to get to know her better. She looked tired from lack of sleep. Grant was making her stay in a guest room alone and I felt anger again.
