Me, MY Mate And His Human Girlfriend

Amanda pov

My name is Amanda Dawn and I am part of the lightshade pack. Every year our alpha throws a finding your mate party and all unmated she wolfs must attend. Males from all over come to see if they can find their mate. I hate this cause ever since sixteen I haven't found my mate. I have in fact given up cause now I'm nineteen and still alone. This is so fucking boring but I comply with my mom who orders I go with her cause if not she makes my life hell.

"Get ready now Mandy",my mom said harshly. I just rolled my eyes as I yanked out my gown and heels.

"But mom, I whined, I won't find him, I never will. Every year is the same crap all the others find their mates and I'm left with no one",I said sighing as I styled my hair and applied my makeup. She just rolled her eyes and left my room. Funny how she acts all doting but I know deep down she wants me gone so it's her and dad alone. I wanted to move out after high school but she begged me to stay .

"Mandy come on!! ",my mom yelled. She was working my last nerve. My wolf really wanted to put her in her place but I held her in. Now wasn't the time for this.

I sighed and pulled on my pretty black dress and grabbed my matching wedge heels cause let's face it I can't walk in stilletos. We headed to the pack house and we got out only to be greeted by giddy she wolves. I mean yuck who cares most mates aren't worth having anyway. I went to my friend Beth who looked gorgeous as she stood sipping a punch. We both were still unmated but I didn't mind. She never lost hope she would find her mate though cause she wanted kids and to get out this pack. Her family was worse than my mom. Beth always had to care for younger siblings while her parents popped more out. She hated every minute of it so every year when the mating ball took place she came hoping. I feel bad for Beth because her parents are so ungrateful and immature.

Beth was looking at all the unmated male wolves that walked in when she got that look and I stepped away as her mate ran up and claimed her. I grabbed a drink and food then took a seat. My mom looked pissed at me but I ignored her. I heard murmurs and look up to see alpha Mason Wilson walk in. My wolf went crazy but I got up and nodded no. No please anyone but him he had a fucking girlfriend. He wouldn't leave her cause he claimed he loved her. We all know he is thinking with his dick.

Mason Wilson is the biggest, strongest and most feared alpha in the world. He never came to these things but I smelt him and I knew he was my mate. I need to run get as far as I can cause I definitely don't need him.

Why aren't I excited you ask well it's simple he has a human girlfriend that he has been with for ten years. I sigh sadly and walk away even though my wolf jasmine is howling at me to go back. I hear the loudest growl and run for it. I make it to the tree line but I am caught. I feel sparks run through me as he spins me to look at him. I gave the most hateful annoyed look I could muster. It was better than tears.

"Mate",he growls.

"No, not your mate ",I say slowly as he growls again. Growl all you want alpha jerk.

"You're coming with me either the easy way or the hard way",he growls and grips my arm while he yanks me to my alpha. It hurts but I make no indication of that fact. I keep a straight face.

"So Mason you found her congrats man",he says shaking his hand. My mom is bouncing on her feet while she hugs me and kisses my cheek. Great mom you like it so much you take him I thought angrily. She's only happy I'm leaving so she gets my dad all to herself. My mother hates sharing his attention even with his own pup. She refused to have more kids after me because she didn't want to get fat again.

"You have an hour to pack and then we leave '',Mason says, letting me go. My mom pulls me home and packs all my stuff. I am too shocked to cry or say anything. I don't think mom knows he has a human girlfriend or that he only wants me around so his wolf won't weaken. Or that he is mean as fuck to me and threatens to harm this pack.

"Oh honey you should be thrilled you finally found your mate",she says playing with my waist length hair. Yeah now she acts motherly funny cause ever since I could take care of myself I did just that. I never asked my own mom to do anything with me cause she flat out refused or flipped out. Dad knows nothing about this or at least I think he doesn't.

Yeah if only she knew I was gonna be used and shut away from the world. After an hour we load my stuff in a SUV and I look at my mom one last time as Mason forces me in the truck. She waves happily as we pull off.

I will probably never see her again I thought as we pulled away and drove off to the Dark Shadows pack. I really could care less if I see her because she hates me anyway. Fuck her ass I hope dad wakes up and leaves her someday. He can do better than her. She only thinks of her own needs and wants. My mother was a user and I hated her as much as I hated the situation I'm in right now.

Life was just never gonna be fair to me.
