Louisa's POV

"What is this? Our first fight as a couple?" Lycidas smirked.

"Don't look at me like that!" I clenched my fists. "Does this look funny to you? You never take me seriously!"

Lycidas realized that I was really pissed, so he said, "I do apologize, Miss Torrington, for making you feel this way. As your humble servant, it's my duty to take you seriously. I'm just afraid that under your condition right now, it's inappropriate to see a situation like that."

"Who are you to decide what is appropriate or inappropriate for me?" I folded my arms.

"OK, if you insist." Lycidas gave up. "Come with me."

I followed him outside and walked into a small patient room.

One of them was actually pulling a baby out of a woman's vagina.

There was blood everywhere.
