Louisa'S POV

As I held my breath and looked closer, I found out that they were just men wearing goblin masks.

"Where're they? She's supposed to be here! Altogether with that her lover boy!" One of the goblins said in a low, scratchy voice.

"Be quiet, you idiot!" Another goblin shushed him.

"Boss asked us to get that woman and go away. He didn't say anything about the man. Shall we take him away as well?" The first goblin asked.

"Do you really have to process everything by saying it aloud?!" the second goblin said. "And the answer is no, we take the woman and kill the man, as what the boss had told us before we came to Germany."

"OK, OK, I get it." The first goblin took up his gun and put on his night vision goggles. "Now let me take a look. Where are you, Miss Torrington?"

His dumb, quirky voice sounded awfully scary in the darkness.
