I haven't started giving a background narration in the story yet. I hope you remember what I wrote regarding that, Drake will help with it. Thank you so much for reading.
Red and Jane were finally done with their work and were taking the rest that they needed. Jane was sitting on her bed and Red was sitting on hers too that was opposite her. They were the only ones inside the room as others were not around. "Is that blood?" Jane asked as she saw Red swirl the content. The latter looked at her and then smiled. "Would you like a taste?" "Nah, I am good." Jane shook her head causing Red to laugh. "So, how exactly do you guys feed? I have read a lot of books that talk about humans as the diet to Vampire feeding." She asked her curiously. Red nodded and put the cup aside. "Yeah..humans are the real prey but we still can get many here that are the minorities but the rules given to us regarding them is to make sure that we don't suck them to death. There is also this interesting term, do you want to hear it?" Red smiled excitedly as she indeed wanted to share it. "I am all ears." "Alright. If a vampire can get a non-vampire to be his
"I know, Allen that I was at fault. I know that I didn't take good care of you but you should understand how rough things were, don't you? I couldn't even focus on my family or anyone else..."Allen hit the table angrily, "I am done listening to this all over again, your highness. Please, like I told you the other day, I am not here for the past and I will soon leave. I don't want to engage myself in whatever this is at all. Thank you for explaining your part." He stood up. "Please stay." The King pleaded. "I have been able to bring everyone closer except you and everyone will be happy to have you closer to them, don't you think?" "Your Highness, I am fine being alone." He walked out of the room and the King sighed. What else was he supposed to do? He had tried every means possible to at least cover up for the past and make up for it but Allen was not taking it lightly. The boy was being adamant. As Allen walked hurriedly to his room, Sky appeared from nowhere and pinned him agai
Charlotte opened the door of the mansion and entered. She felt the deja Vu as she closed the door slowly. She remembered when she had entered this place with this same atmosphere to visit Jane in her bedroom. That was her first time meeting Drake and now things were simply getting familiar. There was no one in sight so she just sat on the couch and sighed heavily. The maid around came to attend to her. "Miss Charlotte, good morning. What would you like to drink?" She asked her. Charlotte smiled. "Orange juice will be better, please. It's almost noon." She answered and the maid left. Just then Drake came downstairs with his hands in his pockets, he wasn't expecting to see Charlotte though. He walked sluggishly towards her and finally rubbed his neck with his right palm. "Hey, you didn't mention anything about coming over? Are you okay?" He said and took his seat. "No, I am far from being okay," Charlotte replied solemnly. The maid brought the orange juice and placed it b
Kyle squeezed the small towel he had dipped inside the cold water earlier and pressed it on Charlotte's forehead. She was running hot for a while and refused to even blink her eyes. How long was she going to stay unconscious? A day? A week? Or was she going to be in a coma? While still trying out the available options in his mind, Charlotte groaned and moved her legs slightly as if in total discomfort. Kyle looked at her eagerly and then adjusted his sitting so she would find enough space to spread out if that was what she needed to do. Slowly Charlotte's eyes were opened and she smiled when the first person she saw was her man, Kyle. "Hey." She tried to speak up. Kyle didn't know what next to do or say but nodded either way. Was he to serve her something to eat or what? "How long was I out?" "Four hours." "Damn." She reacted. Earlier on, she was possessed. Sophia had cast a spell on her that made her release the monster from her bondage. How could she have fallen for the tric
"Now make sure that you find him and don't let anyone know that he is missing yet, do you understand?" Sky instructed the men he was about to send out to look for Simon. "Your Highness, you can be rest assured that there will be no problem."Sky nodded and sent them off. He was becoming worried about Simon's whereabouts. He didn't believe it when Allen denied not ever seeing him. Did he kill him and bury him in the bushes? Simon must have discovered Allen's secret and intended to reveal it but Allen might have decided to hide his dirty little secret from everyone. That would be the last thing Allen would ever do but who knows? He had not been around in years and therefore bound to change. Hopefully, he would be found and brought back.========== "Calisa, what is your next plan?" Maribel asked her as Calisa sat on her high seat AKA The Throne of Guardia. Other six members were seated as well but Simon was nowhere to be found anymore in their midst. Calisa reached for her glass and s
Allen and Calisa held a staring contest for a while before Calisa decided to end it all. "Don't you have something good that you would like to say to me perhaps?" She asked with a smile still on her face. Allen sighed and looked away. He knew she was going to come though. "Alright, since you're not trying to be friendly, let me go straight to the point. Give to me what you stole from me." She ordered, her smile had totally disappeared and she seemed prepared for a fight. But not Allen - he wasn't even moved a bit. "I am lost." This was his simple reply. Calisa walked slowly toward him. Her black gown embedded with shiny fairy dust rubbed on the grass until she stopped a few inches away from him. "Don't try to be dumb, Allen. I've got my eyes on you since. " She said furiously, knowing that he was trying his best not to give her what she wanted. Allen picked up the bag and zipped it up, "I don't have time for you, Calisa. I am not here because of you." He turned around to lea
Charlotte shifted slightly on the bed because of the uncomfortable position that she had put herself in but that was enough to wake her up. She opened her eyes, groggy and confused, as the morning sunlight streamed in through the window. It was then she noticed that she wasn't the only person in the room.Kyle was standing close to the window shirtless. The morning breeze blew his soft hair, making her feel incredible to have seen this scene. Remembering what happened last night between them, she became slightly worried that he could have changed his mind. So she called out for him, "Kyle."The latter who seemed to have been in thoughts jolted back, he blinked and immediately turned around to look at her. Her hair was rough - as rough as a bird's nest and her face was red too. The gown she was wearing was entirely exposed in the open as the gown's strap had fallen to the arm exposing half of her breasts. Charlotte was not aware of this as she was more concerned about Kyle's new atti
But what he saw was simply an illusion because his hand passed through the image which shook a little bit before turning into vapour. This caught him off guard especially when he heard claps coming from behind. "I wasn't wrong about you after all," Calisa said as she increased her clap. She was seated on something invisible high up but soon it started to lower itself until it got to the ground level. Calisa then stood up and approached Sky. "You looked so desperate to save him earlier so why the current look at me?" "You have him with you." "As you can see, yes. I intend to have a little bit of fun with him before releasing the lifeless child." "I swear Calisa if anything happens to him..." "What will you do huh? What will you do? Don't you think that it's ridiculous for you to threaten me? You sent your boy to my place! My place! Did you forget the rules?" "I didn't send him to your place. I only instructed him to..." Then it dawned on Sky that Simon must have followed Allen
