Chapter Ten: We have to break up

“To show your boss what real power is,” Austin said and got out of the car.

Ella also got out of the car and approached Austin. “Mr Gerano, what do you mean?” she asked, confused by his statement.

Austin smiled and held her wrist. “Come, let me show you,” he said and started walking towards the building.

Ella had many questions she wanted to ask but she knew that Austin would just beat around the bush instead of answering her directly and so, she kept mute and let him lead her.

They entered the building and all eyes fell on them. What followed next was silence, such that if a pin dropped, it would be clearly heard.

Everyone was shocked to see the young heir of the Geranos at their company.

Ella, who was not used to being the center of attention, instantly hid behind Austin. For once, she loved that he was much taller than her as she was able to disappear completely.
