Chapter 61
Layla tried her hardest to avoid the man after such an awkward situation they were in. She would either stay in the kitchen to roast boar’s meat for her meal or sharpened her daggers before training. Zev on the other hand also kept his distance which made her feel relieved as she didn’t know how to face him again if ever he asked her to talk to him. Even Lucian seemed more aloof towards her. She spent a whole day in the jungle, hunting for a particular boar as part of her daily exercises to get stronger.
