Fear crept through her veins and she couldn’t stop shaking. Layla found herself crawling backward not minding her injury from the fall when her butt hit a rock. She was trembling as she moved away from the monstrous creature. Her eyes were never leaving the hideous sight in front. On the other hand, the man in black coat seemed not to falter over Zev’s appearance. Layla breathed deeply. She still couldn’t believe it was her master.

‘So what happened to his pretty face?’ She thought mindlessly as she had a hard time processing everything at that moment. Layla shook her head furiously as she held tightly on the dagger. Her instinct was telling her to be on guard if she didn’t want to die yet. And she need not be asked if she wanted to since she would always refuse to die.
