"Reiner told his younger brother about the two of you?!" Rai exclaimed when he heard what Shane said.

Today is a weekend and their rest day. After their acquaintance party, Shane went home with Rai and Rynier after unwillingly declining Reiner's offer to ride home as they are neighbors, too. It was because Shane's time to turn back to a girl is about to end, and Reiner can't know that he is Sheinna. Thus, Shane can only be heartless and lied to Reiner that he has some things left at Rai's house thus he has to go back to Rai’s house.

As to why Reiner, although feels jealous, is not threatened with Rai being close to Shane, it is because everyone knows that Rai likes girls and not guys. So Rai definitely will not go after Shane. Also, Reiner trusts Shane very much as his lover. It is only him, Reiner, who Shane lies to.
