Avyanna
Four years ago
I was gonna be late for school again even with the fact that I hadn't slept at all. My life was going so great. How many thirteen-year-olds have insomnia and have to take pills to sleep?. How many? Maybe numerous, but none that I know of. My wolf, vesta growled, she needed rest. I had been overworking her since we had synced.
I hurried downstairs because Elektra must have been waiting for me. I scurried past my brother who was getting out, we hardly talked to each other.
I threw early morning greetings at my uncle Stefan(the stand-in Alpha). I disliked him, and so did my wolf. I didn't care about being Alpha or Omega. I just wanted to live like a normal depressed teenage wolf.
School passed in a blur, but it did a good job depressing me the more. My school and classmates wouldn't let me be like it was a crime to be chubby or dark-skinned. I was weird, so what?. They are all the same and honestly, that's what's more spooky.
I find it disgusting that the human race, especially the teens, has resorted to body-shaming and criticism. Their brains and thinking faculty are microscopic.
Elektra tried to talk me out of it, but I couldn't have it off me.
Elektra wouldn't understand, she was from south Alparo, very light-skinned with a long straight nose and gorgeous hair. She was beautiful. I, on the other hand, was born ugly and I'm probably gonna die ugly too.
At the sound of the dismissing bell, I grabbed my bag hurrying to join Elektra who was already waiting for me at the entrance.
I had to get some books at my locker for the weekend.
Someone almost slammed my fingers off.
“What the…..!”.
I was going to rip someone's throat, Vesta was already cranky from our lack of sleep.
Angus, the perpetrator, had his hands by the sides of my face locking me in.
His face was so close to mine, almost touching my nose. I was pissed and he was fuming with anger. I didn't understand why he locked me in. I didn't get why he was giving me this menacing glare.
“Get out of the way, Angus!”.
“No, I won't”.
“Get out or I will make you, Angus!”.
“Urgh!!! I hate your lazy ass”. He groaned and banged his fist on my locker.
“I want you to give it up, you are not going to fight for the Alpha position”.
“Are you scared I'll beat you?”
“I am not joking with you. You are going to back off. I will rip you apart before you even think of it. Do you understand me. It's enough you have murdered our Dad”.
I couldn't stand down and watch him say crap. He could berate me but he would not blame me for the death of a man I lived for, a man I loved to the moon and back. I struck him in the stomach and pushed him out of my way. He fell on his back and sat upon the elbow.
“you will not stand here and lecture on me who gave a sh*t about Dad, you were playing video games. VIDEO GAMES!! Who does that?! I was screaming, banging on your f*cking door. You asked me to leave. TO LEAVE!.”
I went down and grabbed by his collar, I was larger than him.
“Just keep thinking about your stupid Alpha position, while I hate you forever”.
I let go of his shirt collar and ran outside.
I ran into Alcinder's hands, he had joined Elektra waiting for me. I told them what transpired between me and Angus. Alcinder helped me in the car to sit with the driver. He rolled up his sleeves and signaled Elektra and together they went back into school probably to look for Angus.
Alcinder
I've had enough with that little punk picking on yanna. He better be prepared for what's coming his way. I rolled my sleeves and gave Elektra a slight nod as a signal and she followed me into their school.
I found him in the gym talking about jargon with his friends.
I rushed in and punched him square on the nose, he began to bleed. His friends all scampered off, I knew they would because they are all lily-livered.
Elektra healed his nose. I punched his face and broke his nose again. Elektra healed it likewise.
I grabbed him off the ground, he tried to wiggle out of my grasp.
“This is just a taste of what you will get when next you harass Avyanna. And I promise you, they will be no healer for you this time. I will separate your flesh from your bones, just try me”. I threw him to the ground and walked out.
We drove off to the cottage, but I had to leave early to have a meeting with my Dad. After the Prophet's message last year and my outburst, there have been meetings and debates. Gossips too, but no one dared to approach me directly or my Dad.
After the meeting, I headed out for an evening jog as my routine. I noticed I was being followed, I increased my speed only to fall over a piece of log.
My aunt, Velda, helped me up.
“Jeez! You scared me, Aunt Vel!”.
“That was the intention”. She answered with a fake giggle.
“How have you been faring?, Alcinder”.
“I am well enough”.
“Are you coping well?”.
“with?.”
“being without a wolf and all this pressure you.”
“I know that you didn't come all the way here to ask me how I am faring, Aunty Vel. You might as well spill what you have to say”. This woman irked me.
“I'm just worried for you, you work too much for your age. I want to remind you that life isn't always the way you want it to be”.
“Thank you for your concern. If you don't mind I'll love to continue my evening run”. Why couldn't she just let me be?.
“I heard of what you did to the late Alpha William's son. That was careless and reckless of you. It could start a war amongst our peaceful and consisting packs. You're letting your anger and frustration get to you. That is not a proper attitude for royal blood”.
I despised this woman and wanted her out of my way. Whatever I did was none of her business. I wouldn't let her get to me nor was I going to give away any emotion.
“Thank you again for your genuine concern about me, I appreciate it”.
I didn't wait for her to say anything else. I continued my run, listening to music to drown my sufferings.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, Velda let out a final, pitiful howl and collapsed to the ground. The battle was over.Avyanna knelt beside her defeated foe, her sword at the ready. But then she saw something in Velda's eyes. Something that spoke of pain, loneliness, and loss. With a sudden feeling of compassion, Avyanna lowered her sword. "I'm sorry it had to come to this," she said softly. "But I had no choice. It was my birthright. Mine!!"As the two combatants traded blows, the intensity of their fight only grew. They were both determined to come out as the victor, but it was Velda who eventually gained the upper hand. With a sudden burst of energy, she pushed Alcinder away from her and stood up, panting heavily as she took a step back. Amidst the chaos, her eyes wandered to the moon, staring at it with a flicker of sadness. It was during this moment of vulnerability that she revealed the truth to Alcinder."I killed Alpha Williams," she spoke softly, almost as if she were c
"There has been an attack, a war, My sister has gone rogue. she has formed an evil alliance and now she is aiming to destroy, to destroy all the packs in Alparo but we cannot let that happen" Alcinder's father, Alpha Stone continued."We must get the children to safety because War has begun. He locked eyes with his Son, Alcinder with the most apologetic look. He knew he might not survive because Velda was out for him.Alcinder mind linked to Avyanna immediately." love, where are you?""Gearing up, I'm guessing you've heard about your psycho aunt. My pack is the next on her list, I need you here." Avyanna felt like panicking but she refused to she was strong.Velda was not a typical hybrid werewolf. She was stronger, faster, and deadlier than all the other werewolves in her pack. Her abilities had always set her apart, even when she was a pup. Nevertheless, the pack accepted her because she had never gone against their ways. She had always been content playing by their rules. But that
Chapter nineteenAvyanna, Alcinder, and returned to their respective homes in the evening after recuperating in the cottage. The last Seventy-two hours had been hectic and exhausting, mentally and physically.Avyanna was overworked and all she needed was a cold shower. She could already imagine the feeling of the water flowing down her scalp, easing from tension. Her Spirit of Nature, Lala was ecstatic and chirpy. Avyanna was happy, and Lala was cheerful.Vesta was swooning with desire and Joy, she had finally found her mate. She was shamelessly basking in undiluted ecstasy, twirling around and hugging herself.Avyanna was finally being the woman she ought to be, the one her father would be proud of.Avyanna had wanted to use the window, twine her way up the trees, and enter the bedroom without causing a fight, but today she was ready for a fight. She used the front entrance of the pack home boldly. The house looked deserted. She touched the bracelet on her arm and it wasn't beeping s
All his life, Alcinder had been mocked and humiliated. His masculinity, superiority, and leadership abilities had been questioned and ridiculed because he could transform or sync with his wolf.He couldn't love or feel the need to be loved.Alcinder was heartbroken each time he saw the look on his parent's faces. He was bitter each time his Aunt Velda threw a fit, he cursed but he would never cry. When he convulsed and fell to the ground, he felt that all hope was lost. He could hear avyanna’s cries, cries that pierced his heart. He wished he could hold her and tell her how he felt before he would die.He reached for her curls and caressed her cheeks, looking into her glass silver eyes before passing out.He woke in a Majestic palace with gold pillars that were decorated with beautiful and striking flowers. He noticed a beautiful being sitting on the throne. She had pale skin and hair. Her lips were coated with blood red and her eyes were strikingly blue. She was beautiful but not as
The receptionist stood above Alcinder and Avyanna. Avyanna barely noticed her because she was entwined to Alcinder.Elektra who kneeling beside the Wolf walked up to the receptionist with a menacing glare, the aura she gave was that of an age-old witch.“Are you going to attack your grandmother”, The receptionist quickly shape-shifted into Elektra’s grandmother. For years, Alyssa, Elektra’s grandmother had known of Velda’s plan. She had to devise a means to obstruct it stealthily without any chaos or war.So she cloned herself, dropped her clone at the nursing home, and shape-shifted into a young married lady named Mrs. Woodrow.Alyssa searched for Alcinder's Wolf and finally found it.It was as stubborn as a mule, on a deserted island out on the outskirts of Alparo. It was skinny, cursed, infected, and Aggressive.Alyssa was finally able to weaken its spirit and scent for a while then she brought it into Alparo without alerting Velda’s demons.Elektra ran over to her grandmother an
