“Mama!” Casper shouts, running to her as soon as Stella enters their unit. Then he hugs her with those tiny arms. “I didn’t see you off!”

“That’s because you wake up late, Casper.” Stella put down her bag and folder, and lifted up her son, kissing his cheek. “I missed the two of you!”

“We missed you more, mother!”

“I’ve cooked dinner,” Amunie announced.

Before they dine in, Stella took a quick shower and dressed casually to eat with them. Casper told her how they went to the park and how the kids there annoyed him.

“That’s how kids are, Casper. They run around and have fun.”

“What’s the fun in running around? I wanted to get fresh air so I went there but they’re noisy!”
