Chapter 7: Gunfight

Lily raised her head to look in the rearview mirror, frowning, but not saying anything. With one hand she clenched the steering wheel, the other hand pulled the car's gear lever, her leg stepped on the accelerator, and the speed of the car increased to a terrifying speed. Doris's face turned white, the horrific past with car accidents had haunted her, and she was extremely scared at such a crisis speed. She clenched her fists into fists, biting her lips to try to be patient.

Lily glanced briefly at her for a second, then focused on wriggling, swerving to escape the pursuit of the five cars behind. Six cars sped across the highway, Lily overtaking the cars ahead, using them to block the view of those five black cars.
