Marsai
“What have I done? Marsai, what misery have you brought upon yourself?”If only I had known, I wouldn't have saved this monster. I would have reported him to my father right away! This was all my fault. If only I had been smart enough… if only I had been obedient...if only I had stayed at home… But there is no room for 'ifs' anymore. The deed has been done and now I'm left to live in regrets of what I had done…or what I could have done.It was a bizarre sensation, an overwhelming urge to both laugh and scream at the same time. Though screaming was difficult with my hoarse throat, I wanted to laugh at my immediate misfortune and scream at my own foolishness.Look at me, wasn't it enough that I was mateless? Already doomed to be lonely for the rest of my life, now, I'm not only mateless, I'm now an orphan. An orphan at the mercy of this deranged werewolf. An orphan who had played a part in her parent's death!“Are you happy now, universe? Have you cursed me enough to your satisfaction?”I gazed up at him, my body weakened as I sat on the ground. How I longed to rip that face apart with my paws, to dip my hands into his naked chest and squeeze out his merciless heart. Though I had never taken a life before, the intensity of my hatred made me crave his gruesome demise at my hands. Yet, I found myself helpless, unable to act upon my desire. Why? Because I was weak and my wolf was even weaker. If my parents couldn't even get a scratch on him, who was I to stand a chance?Tears streamed down my face as I looked upon the lifeless, bloodied corpses of my parents once more. “I'm so sorry. This is all because of me.”My 18th birthday has turned out to be the worst day of my very existence.Dragging my eyes away from them, my gaze traveled to the werewolf who was still standing at the door in shock. Rudolph. He was still staring at the murderer behind me. I had just told him that this person was responsible for the massacres of half of our Pack members and my parents.Maybe he could save me.Rudolph was the Beta of our Pack, second in command to my father—he will save me because I was too scared to move from where I sat at this murderer’s feet. It had taken blind courage to even get this close to him in an effort to hit him and now—I couldn't move an inch.My eyes locked with Rudolph’s and I knew he could sense the desperation in my gaze. Randolph bravely confronted the monster with a fierce growl, attempting to intimidate him. Unfortunately, his efforts fell short.A bone-chilling sound echoed behind me, causing my heart to jump. Even Rudolph and everyone present flinches, recognizing his monstrosity again.“Was that supposed to be the growling of a wolf or the devil?”I looked back at Rudolph and the look on his face spoke volumes. He had changed his mind about trying to attack the madman behind me. The expression on his face gave him away, even an idiot wouldn't dare to go against this monster.“Marsai, come,” Rudolph said to me, extending his hands. My eyes moved to him but I hesitated, afraid to move or even glance back, fearing the piercing gaze of the monstrous creature.“Come, Marsai,” he urged once more. With a gulp, I began crawling towards Rudolph.“Maybe If I could reach him fast enough, we could run away.”I was still edging towards him when I felt someone step right in front of me. Dear heavens!I glanced up, meeting the piercing gaze of those dark eyes that seemed to peer into my very soul. For the first time since we met, he spoke, asking, “Where do you think you're going?” Oh, no!“Let me go…” I mustered, unsure if he heard me.“Please,” I heard Rudolph say, “don't hurt her”The monster let out a sinister chuckle, his smile sending shivers down our spines. To our astonishment, he swiftly lifted me off the ground, his strong arm securing me tightly around the waist.“What are you doing!” I gasped in shock, fright coursing through me. “How dare he touch me!”“Hey!” Rudolph exclaimed, taking a panicked step closer to me.“Do you dare move?” He warned, his voice filled with menace and malevolence.Rudolph and I stood frozen. I stopped trying to get away from his grasp and Rudolph didn't dare take another step, it didn't matter if it wasn't me he was talking to—I didn't dare to move. Dear, lord! He sounded like the devil himself.“Don't even think about taking her away from me,” he continued in his deep menacing voice, “no one touches my woman.”“Huh? What was that? Did I hear him correctly? His woman…?” Who is his woman?I bet even Rudolph was taken aback by what he heard. Who wouldn't be shocked? What the hell is this insane man saying?“Wo…woman?” Rudolph echoed, his green eyes flicking back to me from the lifeless bodies on the floor.“Yes,” the monster said, his grip tightening around me. “Marsai,” he said, dragging my name in his bone-chilling voice, “is now my woman and will be my wife.”“What the fuck?!” My eyes would've practically popped out of my head if they could.I spun around to lock eyes with him, but his gaze fixed on Rudolph, as if challenging him to oppose. And, as expected, Rudolph didn't dare to oppose him.I couldn't believe what was happening right now. “Was I so hated by the universe? By the heavens?” How could th…this lunatic expect me to marry him after he murdered my parents in cold blood? Is he completely out of his insane mind? And why is Rudolph just standing there, accepting it all? Isn't he the Beta of our pack?“Say something, Rudolph! Please, don't let me marry this monster!”What an eventful night I'm having. First, I stupidly saved a stranger, who in turn murdered my parents and was now forcing me to be his wife. Wow, just incredible. And just look at Rudolph, look at him! He can't even say a word, nothing. Some Beta he is.“Well then…” Rudolph's words finally broke the tense silence, and both I and the monster leaned in, curious about his next words. “If that's what you want... my lord,” he stammered, clearing his throat. “I'll have the servants start the preparation.”“Preparation? What preparation?” My eyes widened in absolute shock. He's kidding, right?“What are you talking about, Rudolph?” I snapped, breaking free from the monster's grasp. “I absolutely refuse to marry this man!” No way, never in a million years! Even the heavens forbid that! Rudolph had the audacity to motion for me to calm down. Calm down? After everything that's happened? I should just magically calm down?! I spun around, locking eyes with the terrifying monster who stood before me, then shifted my gaze to Rudolph. “You're out of your mind if you think I'll marry the man who murdered my parents! A complete stranger—" “My name is Fenrir,” he interrupted behind me. I turned, giving him a glare. I didn't even know what to say next. Did he seriously think I care about what his parents decided to name him? “Fenrir,” he repeated like a complete idiot. Can you believe the nerve of this guy?“Was this supposed to be an introduction? Who asked for your stupid name? You could be nameless for all I care!” I snapped at him, feeling utterly miserable and bleak.“You,” he
I was shocked by his order, but after experiencing so many emotions today, I felt numb. I haven't accepted this as my fate, but... he... he's too powerful to defy.“Excuse me, Alpha,” a deep voice came from the crowd, and I turned to see who it was. It was Dante Oberon, one of the five Pack Elders. He was in his late fifties and the second oldest Elder.“What did you have to say?" Fenrir's voice held no respect whatsoever for the elderly man. He was like a brute. A good-looking brute. What is it with his man? what imprudence?!Elder Dante didn't let his rudeness bother him as he continued to speak. “Having a wedding tonight is not possible.”Fenrir immediately stood up, his imposing figure casting a shadow over everyone as a deep frown formed on his face. “Why?”“The death of her parents forbids it,” he replied.“It's true, Alpha,” Elder Cross Everon, the fourth Elder, agreed. “It's considered taboo and bad luck to marry on the day of a funeral.”“Yes,” Everyone agreed. “It's true."
FenrirAnother day but anger still lingers from a restless night. I ran my hands through my hair, letting out a subtle sigh. My gaze falls below the window, but I don't really see or notice anything. My mind is elsewhere. The deep frown on my face shows it's not a good place.Look at me, an Alpha leading a pack of werewolves. I have it all now - money, power, authority. Everything except her - Marsai, and the memories that came before. But I'd rather not dwell on them. The anger surged through me felt like molten metal. She disobeyed me, attempting to escape my grasp. Her abrupt flee yesterday played on repeat in my mind. During my coronation, I could feel her intense glare, as if she wanted to pierce through me. The hatred in her eyes and her refusal to howl like the others when the coronation was finalized revealed that she would never accept me as her Alpha or husband. Perhaps that's why she tried to delay the wedding with the 'bad luck' tale. She despises me, I'm very much aware
“Interesting,” I replied with a sly smirk, my mind already scheming their deaths. “Get them all in my chambers for a meeting, now.” The anger that had started to fade suddenly surged back, but this time it wasn't fiery and hot. It was icy and menacing. The thought of what I had planned for them sent a thrilling shiver down my spine. The emotions were just as intense as yesterday, but this time, I gave full reign to the burning rage.“Yes, Alpha,” Rudolph bowed respectfully before departing.I strolled into my chambers, my mind consumed with thoughts of the impending meeting. The exquisite suit I wore felt too elegant, far too pristine to be tainted with blood. I swiftly discarded it, opting for something less... alluring. As I settled in, I couldn't help but reach for the bowl of succulent grapes nearby. Popping a few into my mouth, I savored the sweet taste, relishing in their juicy distraction while I impatiently awaited the arrival of the Elders..Soon, a gentle rap on my chamber
MarsaiAfter Fenrir stormed out, I crumpled to the floor, trembling with fear. He had never shown that level of anger before. The way he shattered the painting revealed the intensity of his emotions. Maybe I shouldn't have pushed him, but I couldn't help myself. After everything he did, he had the audacity to demand an apology from me. Unbelievable!Although I was furious at him, I couldn't help but wonder what Fenrir was up to. I was terrified that he might do something drastic, as he said. But I really hope he doesn't. “Marsai?” a voice called from behind the door. I slowly got up and walked to the door, opening it to find Rudolph's face. “Rudolph,” I called out.I wasn't angry with him anymore for not protecting our Pack against Fenrir. I think I understand, but that doesn't mean I'm happy with him.“I came to check on you. I heard you were...back,” I didn't say anything and waited for him to say something more reasonable.“I brought Clara to help you change.” He said.My eyebr
Fenrir “Well, well Fenrir, I must say you did, good. You finally have Marsai all to yourself.” I smirked to myself, feeling satisfied. The wedding was a total success, even though it wasn't a huge affair. I'm not one for big crowds or long ceremonies. I invited who I wanted, including the elders - the ones who survived - because I wanted to show them what I'm capable of. I wanted them to know that I, Fenrir, always get what I want, when I want it.Marsai is now my wife, and I couldn't be happier. Damn, my wife looks incredibly alluring tonight. The dress I picked out for her hugged her in all the right places. Sure, she wasn't thrilled about the wedding, but what could she do? She'll have to accept it eventually. I still don't remember who I was before that night, the night I met Marsai, but it doesn't matter. I know who I am now - Alpha Fenrir, the feared leader of the Crescent Moon Pack. I smirked again. The feeling of accomplishment is like nothing I've ever experienced befor
Marsai Tears streamed down my face as I tried to suppress my whimpers. My dress lay in tatters, clasped between my legs as I huddled in the corner of the bed. Fenrir had attempted to touch me against my will because I refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing me beg. “Beg me, I want to hear you beg!”I felt a fiery anger consuming me, squeezing my insides as I recall how strongly he had attempted to claim me. Feeling overwhelmed by anger, I felt my strength drain away, my body sliding down the wall. I wanted to scream, but I was too powerless. If I had the strength, I would have fought back, but I couldn't. I felt completely helpless.I let out a groan, forcing the scream back down. I have to escape, I can't stay here any longer. The Pack didn't offer much, except for Leah, my best friend, and maybe her twin sister. It's a shame I haven't seen them since my parents' sudden death and Fenrir's uprising. With that in mind, I disregarded all caution and mustered the last ounce
FenrirFeeling my heart burn with a deflated ego, I paced restlessly in my room, desperately seeking a sense of calm. Just then, a knock echoed through the silence, capturing my attention. My eyes darted towards the door, and with a surge of anticipation, I rushed towards it, flinging it open without hesitation.“Here she is Alpha.” Rudolph bowed and I rolled my eyes at his excessiveness.I glanced away from him to see a tiny red-haired woman beside him. She looked fragile and breakable. But why did Rudolph bring me a woman with the same hair color and body shape as Marsai? Goodness! How can he be so annoying?I mean, I liked how he was loyal to me but it was too obvious like he was buttlicking. Anyone could see that he was being submissive because of the fear of having his flesh lacerated by me. I understood that he was terrified of me, which is why he surrendered like a helpless pup. That rush of dominance was exhilarating, and the fear I provoked only fueled my power and desire
