Chapter forty

Claire saw that we were engrossed in each other and a smirk forked on her face.

“Alright, lover birds, later then.” She said as she returned to the staircase and my eyes followed her for some seconds before I highlighted it back to the moment.

“I'm sorry.” I quickly breathed out and he kissed my hair.

“I shouldn't have been stupid to fall for his trick, I'm sorry if I hurt you, Lucia.” Alpha Andrea said and I was somehow confused.

“What do you mean?” I questioned and he let out a chuckle.

“First of all get yourself relaxed, and don't worry about any other thing.” He said reasonably like he knew everything was his fault, could it be, well he was right, my mental and physical health is what matters most right.

He lowered his gaze in the pretence of demureness, and I know that face, Andrea's face that I have become used to. He was down to earth. He was straightforward and not fussy and mischievous, not like Ramanov. But he's stubborn to not have talked when he is supposed to.
