Chapter thirty-six

I followed the voice to the square of the cabins confused as it came to a stop, I started to wonder whether I was sleepwalking when I hitched to enter back to the house, a hand dragged me, and thank whoever it was held my mouth. If not I would have screamed my voice out.

“So you're the one.“ I heard the voice from behind me, then turned to face a familiar face in the cloak, it was Nancy when I least expected it.

“I need you to follow me.“ She said as she held my hand, following her blindly I was surprised as to how did she pull the crank, similar to the old woman, or was she just one of the mysterious people I have met?

“We're here, I think we will be safe.“ She looked around hastily and dropped her hood from her head before strolling toward me. “You heard me?“ she perked in anticipation.
