Chapter twenty-nine

"How are immortals created?" I asked the old woman as I followed her to her cabin, trying to think back to my history lectures from the alchemist.

Perhaps with an amplifier?

She didn't reply and instead walked to the room, she was faster than me even with her age and everything, it might be the gene.

"What are the things you see in your sleep?" She asked from the other side of the room and I groaned, squinting my eyes upon hearing her whispers. It was very unlikely it was the first time someone had picked interest in my nightmares, and I couldn't bring myself to fathom how it's related to finding a way to bring the tyrant down.

"You said?" Sadly I could never insist on getting answers from a tight-lipped person like her, but as of the moment, there was nothing to be done.
