Chapter twenty-three

Before Alpha Andrea my life was simple, I never really cared about love or mate bond whatsoever. What really mattered was my dream of living in Vienna, going to the beach and touching those white sea sands under my feet, living a free life far away from home.

"This is an old book." She sighed, her age was already catching up with her obviously.

"It belonged to an old friend, can you help me decode it?" I inquired of her looking into her bewildered flickering eyes.

"Let me take a look," she said and I rolled it in her direction, she ruffled her hands through it, " it's the same." She breathed out.

I was confused as I looked at her engrossed in what was in the book. "I heard you're a living amplifier," I breathed in, and she raised her head to look at me, I ran my hand through my hair, what was I saying? It was only hearsay.

I pursed my lips and she hummed glaring and signalling I should continue, yeah right I had to even though it might sound crazy or direct.
