Hunter’s POV Instinctively I stepped protectively in front of Ella as a wolf emerged from the tree line. The wolf was large and dark brown with golden brown eyes. Caleb’s POV Her words had struck me like a lifeline. Ella still had feeling for me or she would have never reacted that way. Caleb’s POV Ella was sitting on the couch when I walked in and I bypassed her and headed to my room to grab myself a pair of pants to throw on. I didn’t think she would appreciate my nudity in front of her now being mated to another. Ella’s POV Quickly I began to pack my clothes and belongings into the suitcases. My heart is aching as I realize I am leaving the village and heading back to the Crescent Moon pack. Hunter’s POV A knock on the front door of Caleb’s cabin broke the silence between the two of us as we waited for Ella to pack her things. Caleb moved casually to the door to answer it. Ella’s POV We had arrived home later than expected and all I wanted to do was go directly to bed. My mother was asleep and my father hadn’t informed her yet that they had found me. He wanted to surprise her with bringing me to her directly so she could see me with her own eyes. After deciding to inform her in the morning that I was alive, I snuck into the house and into my old bedroom while dad went to join mom.
