3 months later POV: Rose Two weeks until The Mating Ball The mating ball was on its way but that also means her birthday was right around the corner. That's when you pick four different people to watch you "change" into the first time. That would be the most exciting thing to happen to a new "wolf". The sun was shining making the day warm. Kyle stood tall with his gaze fixed on his pack below him. His bright blue eyes shined with promise. As an Alpha he was trained in many different ways to ensure his pack growth and the art of obtaining information throughout many different battles against wild rouges. His dad had taught him many things. One of them was the history of wolves. He knew he had to hide the huge secret because humans were not ready to live with wolves. He often enjoyed watching the pups play without a care in the world.Laughter was heard when he saw the ball being kicked into a soccer goal across the field. POV: Rose Standing in the middle of the burnt field with blood rolling down her face . Rose looked at what was left of her home.It sure wasn't wonderful but it was all she had left. The burnt buildings still smoldering and the smell of death still hung the air. Bodies of her pack littered the ground surrounding her. Rose was numb. Rose loved the look of the pack. She could hear the young pups play and laugh. The smell of fantastic food came from different restaurants and houses.. Rose woke up in a soft bed. For a second she had forgotten where she was. Scanning the room she saw the light colored walls and a small desk in the corner. She heard soft snoring and saw Ms Deanna laying on the floor next to her." Ms Deanna why are you on the floor? Are you ok? whispered Rose" Oh yes. I am fine.
