Silas

‘It’s been three weeks Silas. I have followed every single lead you have given me, but there is no trace of her. Dead or alive. I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to tell Cline to let it go.’ I look at the fat prick and almost laugh in his face. I will not be the one to tell him to give up on finding Selene. ‘Really, Sergeant Brown.’ I grab him but his collar and his face instantly turns red. ‘How about you go and tell him that yourself.’ I make towards the side door that leads into the pack kitchen. ‘N… no. Silas. No.’ I stop suddenly and his fat belly bounces into me. ‘I’ll keep looking. If you or any of the pack unearth any information that might help, let me know. Okay?’ He holds both his hands up, like he is surrendering to me, and I release my grip on him. ‘Go now Detective Brown. The search doesn’t end until we have her back.’ He nods quickly and races off around the side of the house. His fat bum wiggling like a little piggies as he goes.
